It seems like I drive a lot of trucks...I do, this is the Southwest after all, and Gallup is truck country.
This is also the zillionth F150 I've driven over the years. So why another video? This particular configuration represents a great choice for a large portion of truck buyers. Check out the video to find out why.
As always I bring you an unscripted and honest consumer perspective without all the fluff.

Late Question, but can you open the back doors from the inside without opening the front door?

Excellent review, straight to the point. Not everyone need/can afford a king ranch or something similar.

I’ll still take my 5.0L. I don’t need and any strap on power.

If you have kids don’t get the super cab. If you can afford a little more payment get the super crew. I’ve had both and by far the super crew is well worth it with 2-3 kids.

I like that Ford kept the suicide doors rather than go with the forward facing doors on extended cabs. Aesthetically it looks better imo.

I Wonder if you can expect 200,000 miles out of this motor if you take care of it.

Good review but I disagree with your fuel mileage claim on the 5.0. I have a 2016 f150 5.0 truck and I'm getting an easy 1000 kms to 36 gallons of fuel on the hwy with 373 gears. I wouldn't call the ecoboost "squashing" it in the fuel economy dept.

85% of people who buy 4x4 honestly don't need it. My 2wd goes through snow fine.

Mr Anderson you've clearly never driven in more than a dusting of snow or up a hill. I couldn't even make it home some nights during a storm if I didn't have 4x4.

Great video, great review. It's nice to see a video on a more affordable truck. It's not bad looking for a "plain Jane" truck either although at almost 40k it's still pricy. Subscribed, keep up the great work!

I feel like 35K for a low end truck is VERY high. I mean 35KI better have 4wd and many more creatute comforts. I do not bag on Ford however I do not ever see myself owning one. I think Ford is cheap and overpriced IMO. However everyone likes what they like and thats why Ford is the #1 truck.

Watching this as a western European where you would not find a single parking spot or be able to fit a truck it into any garage unless you get a short-cab-short-bed one, where you'll suffer with anything but a 4--cylinder diesel at $6/gallon gas prices - you guys truly live in a different world.
