Just noticed... you’re giving full throttle when you’re lugging the bike. Just like so many others who ride this bike... you’re doing it wrong. 6000 revs plus and then you see what happens when you go full throttle.

look up a 6 year old kid popping wheelies on a 1000cc bike on youtube and then go tell a grown man that he cannot handle a 1L bike. you can fly an airplane with a 6 months course.

And you broke the 35mph speed limit too. You need to be more responsible and obey the laws.

Ok, for starters I'm not getting a 250 that's like at scooter level, but was curious why not a 600 versus this 500?

I got my motorcycle endorsement Tuesday and I have a CBR600f4i. It's been fun and enough power to quickly get out if the way of the cars that don't pay attention.

Do you ever actually hate a bike or do you just try to find the good points and maybe a few bad points just so people are better educated I mean I guess there's probably some bikes I'd rather not ride ever at least not on a daily basis

Realy cool review. Love the Scripture and I think you just sold me on the 500r. I'm a new rider and I don't want to hurt myself or anybody for that matter. But the 600 just seems like to much power for a newbie like me. Thanks for a solid review. God bless!

After reading the title and since I’m considering these as a future purchase I thought I needed to watch this. Five minutes in I stopped. What a load of twaddle! I call those big bore exhausts ‘Wa@@er exhausts’ as they scream desperation to be something it’s not.
Think I’ll stick to my CBF1000 for now until I watch some more reviews.
I thought this bike would be nice with a pair of Givi medium size side cases and a roll bag instead of a top box for touring the Highlands of Scotland without the weight of a big bike to lug around butI’ll need to find another review to answer if it would be capable of doing that.
      Best regards

I would have subscribed but the scripture bullshit stopped me.
Why, Oh why would you put religion in a motorcycle V-Log???? Motorcycles are their own religious experience. We don't need your make believe sky daddy.

Thanks for the vid..i have a question..i found a honda cbr 500rr on craigslist.. the person asking 4500..2013 low miles. What's the difference between the 500r and 500rr or did the person make a mistake when he listed it.. I'm sorry i don't know alot about sports bikes but I'm trying to learn as I'm in the market to buy one and i want one i don't kill myself on. I currently ride a honda 750 spirit and it is my first bike. I wanting to move up to a sports bike and am looking for good acceleration but not needing to go 180 mph lol. Also are there any weight ratings for these bikes for us plus size folks haha..

Ain't no such animal as a RR. Certainly not in Europe. The reason is that it was specifically designed to fit Europe's A2 category (35Kw limit). There is nowhere to go with the engine. You could alter the geometry to make it more aggressive but I can't find a mention of it. Besides, there is no racing category for 500cc, so its as relevant as a desert penguin.

I bought one of these to learn on and it was great to learn on, plenty forgiving with the power but also torque-y enough to not always have to be 100% in the right gear all the time. But now that I've ridden it for almost a year I find it's much faster and more fun than I thought 10 months ago and I still have plenty of fun on it. It will get changed for a 600 at some point once I've got my open class but it is a brilliant first bike
