As an owner of a 2015 Trailhawk one of the best reviews of ALL the features that the Trailhawk has to offer! Kudos sir!!! When you get done there is almost no need for an owners manual!!!

Covered everthing but what Jeep buyers REALLY want to know.
      .......
How the Active Drive system works!
      ......
The Active Drive 2 system in this jeep is the ultimate in any AWD system on the market today.
      .......
In high range, all modes revert to FWD for best gas mileage as mandated by the EPA.
      ........
Auto mode has full nanny controls enabled
      ......
SNOW mode has 2nd gear start and uses a 60\40 front bias.
      ......
SPORT mode defeats traction control and uses aggressive
shift points and a 40\60 rear bias.
      .......
Sand\Mud mode defeats all nanny features and uses a 50\50
      bias

Can the Trailhawk tow two jet ski?

yes, it can tow 4500lbs with the V6 engine. I just got a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk, having traded in my 2015 Cherokee Latitude. The 2019 has a VERY much more solid feel to it and MUCH more power from the 4 cyl my old one had. I still haven't taken mine off road yet but have no doubts in its capabilities and when I get the time will go to kinda local 4 wheel drive park and have a ball!!!

I really like my 2015 Cherokee Trailhawk, but will not keep it at the end of the least. This Trailhawk has all the signs of a lemon, the electronics in this Jeep have a mind all of its own. Randomly Driving on the freeway at 65mph the Jeep shuts down all electronics engine shuts down ALL the dash lights out, and then in about 10 seconds the Jeep starts up on its own like nothing happened. Oh yeah sometimes it can't find the FOB even though I used it to get in and and all the buttons on the FOB work except the remote start I keep pressing the start button can't find FOB and I carry both FOB'S with me. I can go on and on

Test drove one of these yesterday. Absolutely loved it. Unfortunately won't be able to purchase it as the back cargo area is simply too small for some of the items I'm required to carry (i.e. wheelchair). There was also one other issue that came up that would have also been a deal killer for me that I will mention here. The FM radio reception was absolutely horrible.....to the point it was almost comical. The dealership will most likely have the radio tuned to the XM satellite radio stations (which came in fine) but if you listen to a lot of local radio make sure you test the FM radio out before buying. Maybe I had a "lemon" but the model I tested produced nothing but static on many of our local stations.

We had a really snowy winter and my car was stuck in the driveway, so I decided to look for an SUV and trade my car in. I wanted a Jeep because I'm a previous Jeep owner and I found this model without having ever seen any ads about it. I really love the design and it got me through winter like a charm. I was flying through 20 inches of snow like I was on a freakin'snowmobile! But now that I've seen these review vids after-the-fact I'm really proud of the vehicle and inspired for future modifications. I hope that all those previous issues are in the past. The new updated software is much more mature. It's too bad that the first people to buy these models basically had to be the test dummies for the new 9speed transmission. Everyone who has an electronic trans is functioning as testers whether they know it or not. Once it's common and has been around for a while I imagine there will be less computer glitches. The 2017 software seems to be functioning smoothly.

This is actually my wife's Trailhawk. Scott and Summer told us to look for a video, but I just caught it due to them posting the Roush Mustang view you just finished. We love the Cherokee, but we are finding out that packing for trips is a little tougher than before due to having less room in the rear. We previously had a 2006 4Runner. Thanks for the great video!

ragingjim thanks for replying buddy, i think i'd settle for 2.4. I am not going for any off road trip in near future plus if i could save some bucks on 2.4, that would be a plus.

Hi Anshul, I have the 3.2 liter. I wanted the bigger engine because I think it will be better for off road capability. So far I'm averaging 23 MPG so I'm very happy with the 6 cylinder. Really couldn't give a definitive answer about the 2.4 liter 4 cylinder though.

ragingjim hey, i am planning to buy a trailhawk. Do you have 2.4 ltr engine or 3.2?
Is it fine to get 4 cylinder?

Modern cars have so much buttons, electronics and stuff you can play with, that half of your attention is missing for looking on the street and driving the car.

My only criticism of your video is the towing capacity.  If the
Trailhawk comes from the factory with the towing option, it has the
auxiliary tranny cooler and better suspension to handle 4,500 lbs.  If
you add a trailer hitch--after the fact and even with the 3.2--you can
only pull 2,000 lbs.  I think this is important for a person to know if
they had plans to tow with it.
I just bought the 2016 Trailhawk without the tow package. Mine had the V6, and auxiliary transmission fluid cooler. I added the Class III tow hitch. My understanding is this now is capable of towing 4500 pounds. Is this not correct? I was told there was no difference in the suspension with the factory tow package.
