Showing my four-wheel steering modification using all wpl parts. it's not that hard of a modification a little trimming here and there and things go together nicely. you will have to have a 4-wheel steering compatible transmitter or a firmware updated GT3C or 3B. It's been fun running it this way it's always a blast to tinker with toys! Hope you enjoyed now go have some fun and RunThatRc!

I like the way you call us "enthusiasts" instead of addicts, junkies, or just big kids. It's so much classier. Thank you for having that much respect for us. It's getting so rare in this world today. Love the videos man.

Great info, thanks for sharing. It’s interesting because I’m planning to build an outrigger boat and I found it cheaper to buy a complete new boat and strip the parts out of it than to just buy the parts I needed.

When I’m done I’ll have a spare hull and radio for less money than just buying the parts I needed.

RTR: As long as you have a 3 channel radio that is all the channels you will get out of it. you can use a y splitter for your steering and then use the 3rd channel for the 2 speed but it won't work the way you have it set up. you would need a radio and a receiver that have more than 3 channels.

My gt3c has 8 channels(hacked firmware). I just need a receiver with more channels but I still need to get one! I just have it the way it is still without the 2 speed.

If you used a y splitter on the servo you would still have a spare channel for the diff.

@Hazel DGZ not sure if you can. I heard the stock RTR electronics can't handle anything but the battery it came with. I dont own a rtr at the moment to test it.

what type of servo do you use for rear steer

You can use the factory one. Or the one i used is the factory MN Model d90 servo. It has longer leads so you can tuck the receiver in the front still.

It's a good simple mod as well. A 4ws capable transmitter and 2 wpl C chassis trucks. And the fun part is building it! Well for me at least👌
