Ok for One I know other manufacturers do this as well, but i really dont like it when Honda Upbadge their Bikes .
For instance the Honda CBR 300r 286cc, CBR 500R 471cc they do the same thing with there Scooters like the Honda Forza,
SH 300 279cc . Just for the Record i Ride a Scooter, my 2 Wheel tool of choice . My 2016 Kymco People GTi 300 Displacement is 299cc very capible Scooter, their 400cc Scooter is 399cc. When they a 500cc Scooter it was 499cc get my point . Kymco do have so watered down version as well . But i feel as Consumers we should (Get What we Pay For) If you buy a CBR 500R the displacement should be no lessthan 5 to 8cc less than its initial Displacement or Badge says. But thats just MHO.

I just went down to my local Honda dealer to look at a grom and they talked me into getting a 2017 CBR300 for the same price. I havent gotten it yet and I still have to get my license, but hopefully they'll still have it when I decide to get it. Also I'm new to riding street bikes. I've only ever drove dirtbikes

DoramaRx I have one of those. Awesome bike and loves to be revved high. I found it a little difficult to ride at low speeds first because the throttle is so sensitive. Really, really fun to flick about and ride fast.

The intake things on the rear were actually on the CBR600RR in the years '03-'06 so it's something Honda has used in the past.
Not sure why they took them out in '07, they look good imo

Looks like a great learner bike. And for a learner it looks good and is cheap to buy, run and insure. Sensible choice.

But seriously honda that thing's got at least 2 R's too many in its name for what it is - a CB500 with a fairing

These bikes don't handle worth beans. Been riding mine since 2014. Put RaceTech Gold Valves, Springs and the GSXR 650 rear shock mod. Makes a world of difference but, the head angle is super slack. The bike doesn't lay over at all which, is good for novice but for turns, transitions are jarring IRL. My ST1300 turns better IMO

Turns out we all wanted the look of a sports bike and the engine of a commuter bike. 31.7 lbft torque is not much that's probably why i would want something a little bigger.

Hey chase I got into riding a couple years ago because of your videos man started on a r6 love it to death still have one till this day an 08 r6 I hope you see this comment dude I really want your opinion on which you think would be more enjoyable flicking around and just using around the city/twistys between this 500r and a ninja 400? I’m 5’6” 160ib if that gives you a better idea. Keep up the great videos man! Hope to be motovlogging myself one day and hope to meet you bro!
