-- What's your favourite F1 track that's no longer on the calendar? --
Unbelievable footage as both Ferraris slide off into the gravel at the same corner while leading 1-2, moments before a sudden monsoon sent the rest of the field flying off the track too. The World Feed actually missed most of the carnage so if you want to see how many drivers were caught out, please search for the Premiere version of this race.

Oh, the F1 - Ferrari fraternity era! This is the era that was not boring for the Ferrari fans.
The era that got a great driver under rain to get 5 championships.
At least we had Alonso later.

Such an interesting time in F1. Cars are unreliable. It's ok, just build backups. 1 million dollars each? It's ok, we will bill the beer and tobacco company for it.

The epic of this track left the tyres engineers some of the memorable stressful of tyres technology when you have to decide which tyres you have to use on one track that have two weather conditions..
Thanks God and engineers for recent F1 tyres that that have 3 variety...feel free to come and test our track💪👍😎

How to make F1 look like a clown sport. :) All races should start like that. It doesn't rain often enough.

I played Formula 1 1999 on PS 1 when it came out and watching this just now just gave me so much nostalgia, for the track, the names, and those characteristic two voices. Amazing.

Yeap, it seems that he very rarely knew who was who....Finnish own "Murray Walker" Matti Kyllönen was very much the same. Always getting the drivers wrong, but even he rarely was completely as out as Walker was.....I mean in this situation as well as in Schumi's crash in Germany 2000 he confused Schumi with Barichello even it was so freaking clear to everyone who watched it that in both cases it was Schumi and I just cant understand how you could confuse the drivers in those situations....but ye luckily Murray seemed to know himself that it was time to retire at the end of 2001 season.

gotta love the typical incapability of the English to pronounce anything other than English:
      "Barikello" "Shoomakker" & "Vershtaphen"

I'm from Malaysia. I can't belive I missed this race. My aunt just called me that morning saying she had 2 tickets for the race, I didn't go because I had other plans, personal reason. I regret that if I had knew how exciting is the race start will be. Damn.
