9:05 All that driver had to do was get off the brake and steer between the two trucks. Locked brakes mean no steering.

The first rule of driving in the Snow is to SLOW DOWN!
      Clip 0:55 drivers going 65 km/h or
40 mph! Outcome, roll your vehicle.
If you have to get somewhere important leave early.
      Common sense driving!

I recommend people buy a Lada, and just keep that baby pinned as fast as you can get her to go, that should be good enough for you to avoid most silly accidents. The quicker you are, the better off you are

Basically, don't spin out. Honestly though, be very careful of driving over bridges in freezing conditions. Bridge's road surfaces freeze much more quickly than the road. There's nothing underneath them, except cold air. A lot of these people just had a bad experience with black ice. There's not that much you can do about it, you can't even see it.

My rule is: For black ice on Hwy 30 mph. For darkness decrease 5 mph. For fog decrease 5 mph.
Мое правило: для черного льда на шоссе 30 миль в час. Для темноты уменьшить 5 миль в час. Для тумана уменьшите 5 миль в час.
