      I bet it would be impossible for this guy to talk if his hands were tied. Jeez, you’d have to keep some distance from him to keep from getting hit!

      I am going to have to Zonk his review for calling it a power rear sliding window - It is not power. It is a manual sliding window.

      The Ranger is starting to grow on me as the nicest of the midsize trucks. The Lariat Fx4 offers a lot of nice amenities for the price relative to the others. Although, I don't think it's the most capable, I think the Colorado ZR2 holds that trophy. All the Ranger needs is a level or lift ... There are plenty of pictures on Instagram of Rangers with a lift/level and they look amazing.
      I agree on zonking the tailgate - shame that it's not dampened.

      And honestly, people need to quit crying about the fact it has a 2.3 ecoboost. Get used to it! V8s and even naturally aspirated V6s are disappearing from trucks and SUVs. The 2.3 is absolutely fine for a majority of owners who are looking for a daily driver and not towing or hauling daily. The 2.3 makes more power than previous naturally aspirated V6s. It gets really old when everyone cries about the price and engines in these new trucks - move on, they aren't for you.

      I'm a picky guy. I really like this truck in this trim. Nothing man made is ever going to be perfect. With that said, this is a really nice little truck. About the price you have to ask yourself,can I easily afford this ? How bad do I want this ? Then go for it feels right. The bottom line is to some people 45 grand is pocket change to another person it's life changing.

      great video! I love the Ford trucks (have just purchased a UK 2019 Ford Ranger Wildtrak) what I hate is that Ford have brought out multiple models with similar specs and similar names in multiple markets. Makes it impossible to research and find parts / modifications.

      UK Market:
      2018- Ford Ranger
      2019+ Ford Ranger (face-lift) [2.0L 213ps / 3.2L 200ps] {trim levels: XL, XLT, Limited, Wildtrak}
      2019 Ford Ranger Raptor [2.0L 213ps]

      US Market:
      2019 Ford Ranger FX4 (different to UKs Ford Ranger) {trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat}
      Ford F-150 Raptor

      AUS Market:
      2019 Ford Everest (Ranger that's been adapted into an SUV Hatchback)
      2019 Ford Ranger {trim levels: too many to list}
      2019 Ford Ranger Raptor (Identical to UK model)

      Why is it when people do these reviews they get all hyped up saying it has a 2.3 eco boost engine trying to make it sound it the greatest thing ford did bringing these rangers back when realistically these 4 bangers are junk!!!....the only thing that these rangers have are good design metal front bumper & bed.
      & to think a Lariate 40 grand+ for a 4 banger an absolute joke...be ready to replace the motor before it hits 200.000 miles...

      Yeah, it's a grill. If you're that excited about just the grill then it's clear we won't get an objective review of this thing. Moving on. You might wanna wipe some of that Ford spooge off your chin, by the way.

      Price is way out of line. It’s looks ok but for the price they could have did tips on the exhaust, heated seats,better dash materials,like wood grain on it,etc. , different engine options. Way to many discrepancies for a price of 45k. Ford needs to tighten up or drop the price to the 30’s price range. Should be more room. Very disappointed with the ranger price point. You did a good job on the video and you found a lot of bad points I see a few more you missed but it’s not worth the time I’ll not be buying a ranger. Think I’ll get a canyon or Colorado crew cab for better price for better options.

      unfortunately what is happening is ford/gm/chrsyler have given up on the $25k vehicle and below market of people. Maybe one or two models they are milking but they will end. I guess they can't make a profit on those vehicles. Anyone who wants basic transportation will have to go elsewhere which is kind of sad. Always wanted to support American companies but both my kids wanted cars so they went to honda/toyota. I saw gas in D.C. at $4.00 a gallon which if happens to rest of the country say good bye to the big three.

      Hate the dash, why so many screens to scroll through. Guys like trucks because they are simple, gauges up front and space. Too expensive for a mid size, for the same price a RAM Big Horn will do much better

      Love the truck. I truly don't understand why they put a plastic drop in liner anymore when a spray in is far superior and not awful lot more.

      And you're mistaken, the rear window is not electric in this truck it's manual.

      I absolutely hate that instrument cluster in the Lariat. I think the instrument cluster in the XL and XLT looks much better with an analog tach however they don't have the nicer LED headlights. I think Ford has made a huge mistake there. I also wish the interior had better materials and a nicer instrument panel for the radio, navigation and controls. I think Ram has everyone beat on that which I know is not a midsize truck. Overall I really like the Ranger and hope Ford improves those features soon.

      At 6:30 it is called Damped Tailgate.
      This version of the Ranger is designed for off-road use. If you put the exhaust tip in the rear like you'd prefer, it would affect your departure angle and tear them up on rugged terrain. Better leave these alone, as the engineers designed them.
      Great review. Much appreciated.

      I think the price is pretty crazy, but this one is fully loaded and rangers have safety features up the ass, sure you can get a decent F-150 with more space, style, and not as much plastic inside, but you won’t find leather, nav, or this many tech features in a $45k F-150 unless it’s a high trim level with a ton of discounts, and ford is already discounting rangers by like $3000.
