I bought "comfort band" underwear. Gotta wear those bastards inside out. They put the rough seam on the inside. That's not comfort.

I have grandkids your age. you are just too cute. these are things they would get excited about. I'm a bit of a 'techie' but just bought a 2014 Lariat and asked one of the grandsons to go thru the features for me that I wasn't sure about. I have the 'my key' but not sure how to set it. I guess I'll have to either read the book - or ask the kids. it's more fun asking the kids. I only got one key with the truck so just ordered some programmable keys to make new keys. that might be a challenge. trying to avoid the expensive dealer charges. The local Ford Dealer said he'd cut it for me, but didn't say what programming would be. 2014 and older keys are normal. newer are laser cut. typically you need 2 original keys to program it yourself, but again - saw a YT video that said if you have remote start (which I do) that should serve as a 2nd key. so my challenge lies ahead when I get my keys (EBAY : https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-for-Ford-2011-2012-2013-2014-2015-2016-F150-F350-keyless-Remote-start-Key-Fob/352639929744?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

here's one for you I learned. the door access code? the dealer didn't have it that sold me the truck (not a Ford dealer) called the Ford dealer and they wanted $65 to reset the code. I did a little research and found a yt video that said ' open the driver door. walk around to the other side - open the passenger door. there is a panel inside. remove that panel look for the sticker that has the 5 digit code. that is the FACTORY code. once you have that - you can either change the code to a personal code or just use that (if it's never been changed). worked like a dream. saved $65. YAY!!

Glad you enjoyed the video! I've heard the trick with having remote start and using it as a second key. Never tried it myself but let me know how it turns out. 👍 Good to know I can always reset the code for my door! Thank you!!

And another one is press and hold the ok button with the engine off and start the truck as normal while keeping the ok button depressed until you get an Engineering test page. You can see trans temp in degrees , coolant temp by degree, battery voltage. Some good info non the least.
      Cheers bud.

When you have your headlights on auto , your lights will turn on when you turn on your window wipers.
Didn't know this till I bought my 2nd f150. Let me know if you knew this already, if not well, you heard it here *first* lol

Try rolling up the window on a bumpy gravel road. It will keep going down. If you immediately raise the window back up after it automatically goes down, it will *not* automatically roll back down. You get 1 freebee then it closes no matter whats in the way. And to reset the pressure setting on it you stop the truck and hold the up button. It resets the pressure setting for the window.

How can I tell whether my factory trailer brake controller pulsates the signal to the trailer?

The factory one should automatically pulsate the signal when the trucks ABS kicks on. That's what I have noticed at least.

Bro you could have covered it all in a short sweet video but you talked way too much over repeating yourself. No offense but just a tip from another YouTuber. Stick to the point and make it short unless you are covering good information not the repeat.

Some of the Ford F-150's have a Cabin Air Filter under the dash. The 2012 is one that may or may not have it. :(

HELP>) I have a 13 F-150 did not come with a Jack. Anyone have any suggestions on which one to get? It has a 4 inch LIFT. Thank you!

Hitchin Mitch In reply to Carlos Longoria

I'm sure you can get it to work for your truck. I haven't used in myself. However I believe they lift by a bumper or something sturdy enough that won't bend. I'm sure there's someone out there that uses it on a pickup.

Hitchin Mitch In reply to Carlos Longoria

@Carlos Longoria Most of my friends all know they can rely on me if ever on the side of the road. I'll have to double check how high it goes. It's the one from harbor freight so nothing special. I know they say to always lift by the frame but if it's an emergency lifting by the rear axle or the front cross member shouldn't cause long term damage.

@Hitchin Mitch Thank you Mitch-So can I have you on speed dial if i get a flat..LOL..1.5 ton but how high does it raise? I went to pep boys and they only raise up to 15 inches. I measured from ground to truck frame and it's almost 18 inches? Please advise and thank you for your videos and reply.

If you are able to find another f150 at the junk yard you can always pull the jack from that one. I actually always keep a aluminum 1.5 ton floor jack in my tool box in the truck bed.

Great honest video. My only concern about the window thing is; if your trying to end a conversation with some undesirable and they stick there hand/arm through. I would rather the window stopped rather than go back down and give them more access to me or a loved one. Matbe if it went down an inch but not 8 inches.

Joe, Had a similar concern. An inch would be fine. One should be able to fine tune this feature in Settings.

Thank you! You know, you bring up a valid point there. I'm guessing more children's head have gotten stuck in the window then people getting attack. But still something to keep in mind.
