Our experts review the 2018 Lexus LC 500.

Edmunds Senior Writer Carlos Lago has way too much fun checking out the 2018 Lexus LC 500 sport coupe, deeming it "the most stunning Lexus" yet. This all-new Lexus flagship luxury car features not only a head-turning design, which makes it appear to go fast while standing still, but also 470 horsepower from a 5.0L V8 to back it up. Heads-up, watch the video with the sound on.

Q: How much is the new Lexus LC 500?
A: The 2018 Lexus LC 500 is $104,476.

Q: What is the Lexus LC 500's acceleration like?
A: There's a huge push from the 2018 Lexus LC 500's 5.0-liter V8 off the line, and it doesn't taper off much until you hit the upper rev range of each gear. The 10-speed automatic upshifts quickly.

Q: How much room is in the Lexus LC 500's trunk?
A: The 2018 Lexus LC 500's trunk offers just 5.4 cubic feet of cargo space, far less than what you'll get in just about any rival. It might fit two carry-on bags at most.

How did I end up here? Was looking for a Toyota Corolla and end up looking at $80,000 Lexus :). The Power of YouTube.

I bought the car 4 months ago. Same color as shown on the video. The engine is very loud and when I want to go somewhere late at night, it'll practically wake up the whole neighborhood just to turn it on. The LC hybrid is quiet and uses a lot less gasoline. That's the one I should have purchased.
Visors are too short in the window and they don't block out the sun completely. I wish they had built the car without the back seats. It would look even sportier. Trunk size is okay for me. Roomier than I had expected. I'm enjoying the car.

Its got an aluminum engine block so its worthless. Don't rev that dumb thing ever or it will warp break. What a terrible design choice. Really limits the life of the vehicle.

Going to get one in 2022, saving up , that Certified route is the way to go, I'll be trading my 2004 SC430, only 76,500 miles right now, still should get $10,000.0 by then.

Car looks super cheap for 100k. Why not carbon fiber around the back taillights and a meaner looking exhaust. Not a big fan of the front and 90s inside.

The funny texture on the top of the tail lights is there because normal chrome whether on plastic or metal will tend to spider web in 3 to 5 years depending on the amount of sun or maintenance the car has. However, that texture will hide or make impossible for any spider webbing to occur. Just go look at 5 year old chrome on a regular car. Toyota has done this before, I just can't remember on which car.

I bought a brand new 2018 LC500 yesterday, Liquid Platinum. Love the car. It's everything and more. The car is so comfortable, beautiful and handles so well. I traded in my Mercedes SL550 for this one. The service manager at Mercedes said, "If you want a trouble-free car, buy a Lexus." How's that for a recommendation for Lexus!! So, I took his advice. I considered buying the RC350F Sport but when I saw the LC500, I started drooling. 2018 is the first run and so no one knows yet what may break or fail. I'm happy I bought the car.

$100k is not worth it, the exterior is excellent but interior is boring and looks really cheap nothing really exciting. Since both lc 500 and rc f shares the same motor ,I prefer buying the rc f for less money and better looking interior.

Yet another masterpiece from my beloved LEXUS TEAM.

I would like to thank each and every member of the LEXUS TEAM for having put out truly remarkable and ever so appealing models, by making improvements in terms of handling and design, all while preserving the famous elements of LEXUS, which are out of reach for any other luxury car brand.

Yet, it is the luxury sedan LEXUS LS 500, that is an unparalleled, unmatched and, quite frankly, an unprecedented pinnacle of craftsmanship and artisanship, setting the bar sky high for other luxury brands.

That being said, you haven't seen nothing yet, as LEXUS have more to come in the coming years. Just watch.

Lexus has designed two of the most stunning futuristic cars in motor history. This masterpiece and the original SC300/400 in the late 80's.
