Out test running the RTR b24zh. It's stock electronics are not the greatest but work(I'm taking it out and putting my own electronics in it lol). Well hope you enjoy! The b16 and b36 are out for the count early but it's my fault not the trucks. Maybe forgot to locktite those grub screws? Don't forget to Subscribe, comment, like and go RunThatRc!

The b36 is so far my favorite 6x6 they have. The details are great for the price. Not to mention metal gears in axle and proportional steering if you get the rtr.

      Hey dude!!! Wassup ?
I have the B36, Russian Ural 6 X 6 and the C24 coming soon. Tommorow? Have metal axle housings and driveshafts, sound module and smoke generator on the way. All for the military truck. Nothing for the Toyota. YET. Next week maybe.
Here's my dilemma. Unsure about the electronics? I DONT want speed. I DO want TORQUE and waterproof too. Would love recommendations for the ESC, and a 3 or 4 ch rcvr. Will run a 2S LiPo, probably the aluminum single speed trans too.
Oh, am adding a sound module and smoke generator too. Diesel engine smoke!!!! LOL Figure everything will fit inside the rear cabin very nicely.
I dont wanna invest $100 plus in mods/upgrades in a $35 truck. BUT... want a descent receiver and ESC for the 180 motor. Will get the 370/380? soon. So....any help would be absolutely appreciated greatly. Thanks.
Ive got the Traxxas Slash, EMaxx, TMaxx, HPI Savage Big Block nitro, and others, so NOW Iwanna build a budget SCALE crawler next. When I finish the B36, gonna do the C24 next.
Probably go STUPID on it!!! LOL. Money isn't a big deal. I'm retired, bills are paid, so.....help me, please.😁😂😊🖒Oh. I subbed too.

+RunThatRC Hmmmmm. Programmable? Have a Spectrum DX2E I think it is. A couple SR201 receivers too. Only 2 channel though. Also the one from my Slash with OBA, On Board Audio. A,e channel. And 2 old school Traxxas TQi 27MHz too. They're kinda glitchy 😔. Gonna go with a FlySky 3 or 4 channel. Then I can control a sound module and a smoke generator too. 😁😁😁 Oh yeah!!!
I can just see it. The B36 6 X 6, w/ axles, driveshafts, sound and smoke rolling on big rubber with rhe WPL weighted wheels.
Have been detail painting. Mud, dirt, faded, worn paint, a SCRATCH or two. A little body damage, and some proper WWIi era markings. Old Soviet Union most likely.
Building a 5th wheel or low voy trailer too. One that is beat up, broken, running mismatched tirrs, rusty chains, flat springs, etc....
to haul my tank. I just have to get a tank now. LOL Maybe a T84 or T32? Something cool.

The b36 is fun. Do you own a programmable transmitter? I run a firmware upgraded flysky gt3c. My b36 you see in the video has a 3 channel rx and a 60a xl5 esc. I run the 2 speed gearbox with the 370 motor. I really like the 2 speed it's not fast it's more like 4 high and 4 low. I have no experience with smoke and sound kits yet but this hobby will take me to those mods soon enough lol.

+Brian Roberts it would have been a bad investment if I already did not own most the spare parts.I just had to buy some parts to complete this build. I was just listing the cost of the part as if I built and bought all the items just to make this 4runner Ifs build happen. I'm thinking gen8 redcat next! Without the body or hpi venture.

Wow, I thought I had been bit by the RC bug My EMaxx ( 4- 8.4v. 5000 NiCd batts and 2 Titan 500 motors), has about $1000 in it,, theTMaxx about the same. My HPI Savage, near $1700, ( dont laugh), Big Block, 2 speed, header, tuned pipe 3 1/2 HP has more in it than my daily driver. A 2002,Tahoe 4 x4 .
The RC bug has no cure. One can only treat the symptoms.

I RUN mine. Not abuse em, but they WERE designed for off road. Kind of. LOL
Betting the designers NEVER. intended their ' toys' would catch on and garner the hugely successful amount of followers.
I'd never even heard of them 2 months ago. Now, I own 2,, and 2 more on the way. Plus lots, lots of parts. Probably will get em all. Go easyon some, and build a champion out of a couple too. LOL
YEP, I've been bit by the WPL/JJRC bug. Is it fatal?
I see lots of builders on youtube and have gotten inspired by some, wanna copy some, and put others to shame!
Hmmmm. Does WPL sprinkle some addictive substance in the box before they ship it out to us? Hmmm? LOL I wonder.

I agree with you completely. Thay are just as fun as hobby grade or even more in my opinion (for the tinkerer). 100 bucks and its tricked out and fun to play and look at. Not to mention you can bring a bunch of these out with you in a single container which is a plus instead of a bunch of 10th scales filling your vehicle. These have been a blast for me! And for the price you can have them all! My 1/10 4runner crawler cost me almost 900 dollars with all the parts I needed to make the build right so I appreciate these little model rigs.

Found your channel from the Banngood reviews from the B24:D Im asking that: should i get this (B24CH) or B36? What would be better for offroad and which has more power? Also, can i drive them on water about 3 centimeter/about 1 inch when stock or in snow/wet conditions without any uprages? And last question: Do they have the power to climb or go offroad well? And EDIT: When you press the throttle little bit, does the car go full speed or can you also go slow with it?

You can probably use your Teton electronics. If your going to upgrade to a 2 speed then you will need to upgrade to metal driveshafts and a 3 channel transmitter or you will have to shift manually(I use flysky gt3c hack firmware). I have no experience with the metal reduction gearbox but I hear they are good if you only need to go slow. The B36 RTR is fun as is. But with the upgrades it's just as fun as a hobby grade Rc for the fraction of the cost! I go to ebay, amazon, Banggood and some other online retailer. Here are links to my b36 upgrades. Don't forget to check around because prices vary. (These are not affiliate links just examples so u know what the parts look like)

And at some point i will probably uprage the motor/transmission so do you have any suggestions for new transmission and motor kit with only slow mode or 2 speeds? And if i need also to change some other things like electronics or metal drivetrain if i uprage the motor/transmission, could you send links to them? And also some speak about that i need to change the controller and the ESC if upraging drive motor, so can i do it somehow with my LaTrax Teton controller, ESC cause it has broken motor so not using them at the moment? I will probably buy the B36 RTR from my local shop cause it has only the RTR but if i buy parts no matter if they are not from my country. Also, thanks for the answer to last question.
      Sorry for this long text:D

In Ready to run form I would say the b36. It has bigger motor than Ready to run b24. If you get or find kit versions and add your own electronics they are both good. They are both proportional throttle and steering in ready to run form. I would not drive the RTR in water at all. All my electronics are waterproof or waterproofed by me.

lol, I'm waiting on the C-24 drift machine, hope you caught comment about removing 1st counter gear, relocating 2nd one to mesh to motor, for doubling the wheel speed. wish they'd drill a divot for grub screws to dive into, flat sided shafts ALWAYS manage to pop loose!

know it'll be a trick to locate it, to properly mesh the motor and the output shaft gear, 20,000 and 30,000 rpm 180 motors are cheap in eBay. after that its black plastic pipe to make short tires to fit WPL rims.
(access to something lathe would be helpful)

Gabriel Silvaz mentioned cutting axle+casing to be shorter, for getting the rims inside the wheel wells, like our slammed mini-trucks used to be, drop spindles and lowering blocks... and a btw.... if you use straight/flat B-1 frame rails you can probably put the leaf springs to the underside of the axles, double them to be stiffer because there'd only be 1/8" suspension travel, but it'll drop it on down! another option is putting a shorter plastic to both sides of the metal one, will stiffen it right up too.

shortened axles does mean closer spacing between leaf springs, means narrower blocks (front rear and motor mount) to go between the frame rails for leaf springs to line up with their hangers.... got it all pictured mentally here pretty clearly for it to come up looking right, some minor creative butchery. already know the "locked diff" WPL axles can controlled drift, seen video of one running on ice.
