Good video. I noticed that they're practically useless the way they are aimed from the factory.

This is true. That's one of the things I noticed when i first purchased this vehicle. However, after re calibrating them they are very functional and serve their purchase. I'm glad you found this video useful.

      Great video!
In my touring 2.0t I put yellow tint on the fogs to be able to see the effect of the fog lights and they are completly useless. Now with your tip I will have fogs that actually do something beside shine at the pavement directly in front of the light. Stock adjsutment is ridiculous.

Even the low beams are aimed a bit low. On every car manufacturer I always go up like 3 -5 inches and enjoy the better output. Can’t wait till I get my touring. I need to test drive one

I did about three turns. It's best if you do it at night and see the reflection of the fog light on the wall. I adjusted it so that it almost meets the headlight but not quiet there.

Thanks for the support! So the low beams and fog lights are LED. The sport trim like mine does not come with high beam LEDs but you can easily replace them check out my video where I show you how to replace them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXsxynrvoAA&t=1s I feel like the LED low beams and fog lights are plenty bright and I personally wouldn't change them. I find that Honda did a pretty decent job with the lights on this vehicle. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the support! that i'm really not too sure about. I would look underneath the fog lights like I showed on my video and see if you notice any knobs that calibrate your fog lights. I think that will be a good starting point.

Nice info since we talking about lighting
Do u or anyone know how can I have my rear light housing activated like the touring models The housing lenses on the trunk. I like the full stripe light up when your braking but you have to have the touring model to get that.I don’t know why Honda cut cost on that.

+tony darden that's awesome explanation! I'm still waiting for the module to be built for my car. I also wanted to replace the tail lights that are mounted on the trunk lid to light up like the touring model does.

+REVMODE MOTORSPORTS I did use a separate switch for the fog lights. Tapped the power wire to a fuse with a 'add-a-circuit'. There's a ground somewhere near the fuse box on the driver side as well and ran a wire to the trunk lights. It's easy to route the accessory wire with the main harness to the back of the car. I used one of the blank panels on the dash and used a Dremel to cut a rectangular shape for the switch (did buy a replacement blank as well from Honda if I take my fog switch out in the future, it was only $1). I originally just connected the switch to the wire that goes to the trunk lights from the harness but when I turned the switch on, all 5 brake lights illuminated and blew a fuse. So I had to cut the wire from the sub harness and connect each wire from the light assembly to the switch. So the wires basically took a 'Y' shape. In England also, they require side blinkers. I did that myself as well. I'm thinking about purchasing the touring side mirrors but the skull caps don't come in the still night pearl color unfortunately.

+tony darden did you connect an independent switch for the rear fog lights? I'm having a company custom build a module to use my reverse lights as rear fog lights as well.

    • tony darden
tony darden In reply to Travis Wade

I've done it to my 1.5 sport. You'll need the sub harness in addition to the touring trunk lights. The reason why I did this is because I'm using the trunk lights as my rear fog light because the UK requires them. Replacement took about 2 hours. Hardest part was removing the old harness that connects everything.

      34150-TVA-A11 Light Assembly, R Lid $99.99 1 $99.99

+2.0 Lyf Pop That's interesting, I've spoke to several 2018 Accord owners and one of their main concerns is that the fogs point to the ground. The beauty of it is that you can adjust them to your liking without blinding oncoming traffic.

REVMODE MOTORSPORTS In reply to Rjohn Diesta

For that, you need different light bulbs. I personally have not looked into changing the brake lights to the flashing brake lights on my Accord, but I know of people who have done it to their vehicles and all they did was get new bulbs that have the "flash" module to give it that effect when you step on the brake. Let me know if that helps.
