Dude it's a Hummer. It can take a hell of alot more than you could throw at it. This is stuff that any 4wd can handle.

Doug. You’re in a Hummer. Name one person that has died in a civilian Hummer.

Yes, but it was disabled on most civilian models because of it's unreliability, as it often leaked.

Remember doing this track in my 2005 4Runner with some off road tires and a few other precautionary mods. It was fun and easy

I wouldn't worry about getting stuck with a Hummer even in Siberia. I mean come on it's a Hummer, not a Toyota pickup.

I understand why people might want off-road capable trucks. If you live in, and or go into remote areas with rougher roads and terrain, they make perfect sense. So for the rural farmer, avid hunter, outdoor sportsman, northern Canadian or live in the wilds of Alaska, or some developing nation with bad or limited infrastructure, they make perfect sense. But what doesn't make sense to me are "off road car parks". The idea that you just want to drive through mud and over rocks and ditches for the fun of it, makes no sense to me.

It's one thing to drive down a rough and remote trail because it's the only way to a destination you want to get to, it's another to go out to some car park just to do it.
