How kind all the instructors were to you has helped alleviate a lot of the anxiety I’m having about my test coming up. I just assume everyone’s a dick at these sort of places

IDK why people make such a big deal about displacement.. I've ridden small bikes for 15 years, nothing bigger than 80cc. My current scooter is 63cc and it's still fun. I've basically always had one as a backup and local use vehicle.. been thinking more about actually getting my motorcycle endorsement lately and really have no interest in picking up anything larger than 300. That's just me though.. every car I've owned has also been a 4cyl that didn't like going much faster than 70mph.. except for the Porsche 944.. that broke 100 pretty easily.

my question is that if you riding in first gear and you shift gear to second gear is it possible to shift 3 gear or you need to shift again for third gear.

Now I feel bad... I took the MSF course and failed the riding test the first time around. Given, it was my first time ever on a bike.. But still..

I had a lot of trouble with the sharp turns. Turning from a stop. Doing the 180 in that dinky box. Swerving left or right. I must've been doing something wrong, but there was just no way for me to turn tight enough.

In the small, box, I was going so slow that I couldn't lean to turn. I had to just turn the wheel. Which threw me off balance and I ended up putting a foot down. Same thing doing a turn from a stop. Hit one of the cones and put my foot down. While swerving, I just couldn't get the damn thing to turn fast enough. I put all my body weight into pushing it. But I think I pussed out because the dude in front of me ended up laying down the bike for turning TOO hard.

Just don't get the physics of it. I'll be trying again, but damn, I'm so nervous. I don't want to waste another 3 days and a full weekend only to fail..

Started my course yesterday. I’m 6’3 220lbs. The 250 is way too small for me and very uncomfortable to ride. Felt like I needed a hip replacement at the end of the day.

The only thing that sucks, Is I feel like I would get confused with all the "crossed lines." It seems like a pain in the balls to have yellow/white lines going all over the place and trying to keep track of all if it. Also, The tiny cones seem like a way to get my dick in a vise. But, You say it's easy, So I'll trust you. Funny thing is, I've been riding for almost 4 years without a license. I've almost died a couple times and I've been down 4 times. I still feel very confident riding, But the course seems like it could put my balls in a juice maker. Idk, I'm going to check it out. I need to get my M1 soon. Btw, All the "balls in a etc" jokes were a Southpark reference. Lmao! If you're a fan, You'll know what episode I'm talking about.

That's hilarious. In Kentucky I took a drivers license test again. Got my learner's permit. I can go on the road immediately as long as I wear a helmet and have no passenger.

The road course you take after 180 days.

lol i had a guy drop the bike during a braking exercise. it was just accelerate in a straight line and apply heavy brake. dude dumped it, must have locked something up, and went sliding across the parking lot. it was also slightly raining. so, i guess i don't blame him. he was older
