Hey Scotty...we just bought a ‘15 Hyundai Sonata Limited. It had just over 26,000 miles on it and seems to be a well cared for car. What are your thoughts on this model?

The *New ACE Body Odysseys* have really bad undercarriage build. Poor weldings, Glue bonds and Silicon treatment.

Hey Scotty I have a 2003 Mazda 6i manual transmission and when I cold start the car the idle seems to jump around until it warms up then the idle levels out. Sometimes it stalls then I have to start the car up again. What can be the causes of this? Check engine light on but I’m getting codes of misfire on cylinder 4 then random misfire to evap canister. Your help would be appropriated thanks 🙏

I respect you, but the bias shows! I've spent the Past three hours watching videos. All I hear is Toyota this and that and everything else is garbage besides old Chevy 350's. Please understand that vehicle reliability is at an all time high throughout all brands! Not a ford guy, but ford has figured quite a bit out to edge Into the market!

Unfair to generalize on the Oddity. Plenty of 99-04 on the road that will never die (after initial tranny fixes), and the 2011-2016 was generally a reliable generation. Toyota had some nasty issues too, so buyer beware.

We bought a new Odyssey in 2000. Six years later at 114K miles Honda was installing the THIRD replacement transmission! Obviously, the "replacement" transmissions were exactly the same as the original. They obviously hadn't corrected the defects!

My friend has a 2002 Odyssey and she loves it. It's got Well over 200,000 miles and it's still running beautifully. I have a 2001 Honda CRV that I had the transmission rebuilt in 2016. Engine has 111,000 miles on it. The MOST reliable vehicle I have ever owned! Steer Clear of Chrysler! Nothing but trouble.

Scotty sometimes shows very little knowledge about current cars. The 2004~2006 GTO will become a classic as it is already very high valued on hagerty values. Only 40k were imported to the U.S and i think less than 10k are left in the wild, there is also a huge demand in australia for holden monaro/GTS/hsv coupe 4 parts. Wow scotty 😥

I bought a used 2000 Honda Odyssey 3.5 V6 With a 270ish miles on it at the junkyard back in 2012 with a tranny problem got it fixed now 2019 February it has 345700ish miles on to it & no problem with it never been tranny oil change yet since . I believe is just the matter how you drive it , front wheel drive van specially with 4 speed tranny shouldn't be hooked up with hitch/trailer and load with passenger and baggages and never drove it on any high elevation area then you'll be fine in one word used it but don't abuse it . Just my own opinion .

I have a 2002 Odyssey with 305,000 miles on it. Doesn't use any oil, runs super strong, due for another timing belt.
Zero rust, other than the timing belt every 80,000, a fine automobile. Would recommend to anyone.
The tranny fluid has been changed every 100,000. I'm the 2nd owner.

Honda Odyssey is VERY reliable van. They last and VERY reliable. Don't speak for everyone,Scotty.
These vans with "touring package"are holding their resale value as good as turbo diesel Mercedes Benz cars.

About 2007 Honda had to beef up the transmission for the Ridgeline (both share the same transmission). Been pretty good since then. The VCM and active motor mounts though.....freaking Honda did not get that right. If you have Honda V-6 with VCM and are tired of shakes/vibrations - Google can thank me later.
