Everything I’ve read online complains about how difficult replacing the rear mount is.

But after watching your video (terrific, by the way) it seems fairly straightforward. Remove the strut bar, undo some bolts, move some wires out of the way, pull the vacuum line off, shimmy the whole mount out, and reverse all the steps.

Time-consuming, maybe. But it certainly seems very do-able. Am I missing something, or is it really that simple?

Also dont forget you need to lift up the motor a little. But very straightforward

Hello my brotha how are you doing ?listen bro i have a question for you about the ball joints in a acura tl. I have a acura tl i was driving today and i hear a noise coming out from the left side of the car is like something clacking i thought is was my shocks and i take to the mechanic and he said is the ball joint. You can hear more when you turn the wheels and when you put the brake. My question is when the ball joint are bad they can give vibration to the car and when you driving you can felt the car without stability?

+Hansell Disla its recommended to replace both. The lower ball joint is easy i have a video on it its a little time consuming so be patient with it. As for the upper control its a walk in the park. It comes as a complete unit.

I dont think is a bad control arm i changed like 6 months ago with the moog brand.. the noise make you think about the shocks but its in the lower side you can hear the noise coming from i know for sure is a bad ball joints but i dont know because this car use upper and lower can you recommend me to change both upper and lower.

Jabo The Mechanic In reply to Hansell Disla

+Hansell Disla okay when putting back the motor mounts did you reconnect the vacuum lines and also what brand did you get again sometimes the vibration can take up to 500 miles to go away because the new motor mounts are stiff same thing for this car but it only did it in Drive at idle. You would feel vibration throughout the whole car because of the cheap motor mount that was used for this vehicle that was provided from my customer
