The Aston Martin Lagonda is the weirdest luxury car ever made. Today I'm reviewing a 1987 Lagonda, and I'm going to show you why this $370,000 luxury car is so bizarre and unusual -- and why the Lagonda is one of my favorite cars.

This car was obviously designed for when Bond got a family. That way with the kids jammering on board he could feel right at home with all of the nonsensical buttons.

(really like the fact that my Hyundai Getz has more backroom than this behemoth.

Honestly, they got a lot of inspiration from biz jets and turboprops of the 80s. They have very similar phraseology and tech.

Door lock is not so complicated to understand, since you can’t pull the knob if it’s in locked position...

Also, when you showed owners manual page 25, there is a button labeled “boot unlock”, number 6. So, I had to rewind back, and you can actually see the button in a central console lockbox. So, your rant about unlocking boot and bonnet is just you not investigating enough.

Also, T RST is trip reset, even a child would realize that.

For a guy making a series of videos about cars and their quirks and features, and probably living of it, this episode is a failure.

Well, at least this car gave the Royal family something modern and luxurious to drive or be driven in. Rolls Royce are nice but aren't really for day-to-day motoring. Plus, it's rather disconcerting to have the Royals driven in German owned cars(Rolls, Bentley). Makes me wonder if they didn't try Operation See Lowe after all?? Doug, first...your reviews are way too long to keep me interested and second, this was car never 370k. It was 170k when it was new, and it could not be 370k today, cause no one would pay that much today, so it was always only 170k, no matter how you try to make it like a big deal. Dont try to say that used uglycar today is worth 170k or 370k, cause its not. It was 170k and only when it was new 50 years ago.
