I wouldn’t recommend this car if you plan to sell it in less than 5 years. They depreciate a lot. After six months of ownership and 9K miles the trade in value is $14K! I’m down $7K on a 6 month old vehicle! 🤦‍♂️

All cars depreciate the most the first 3 years. I had to buy from carvana after my Civic flooded from Harvey and while they have their faults since the don’t charge fees or manipulate unnecessary warranties in your purchase my 2015 M3 current value is slightly more than what I actually owe. Your interest rate affects it too. That’s why it’s financially best to buy used and pay cash if possible

You’re right. I have a 2018 Mazda 3 Sport Sedan. I’ve had it for 6 Months with 9K miles and trade in value is $14K. MSRP was $21K. After Dealership bullshit, taxes, ect. It was $25K. I put down $3K. I have $7K in negative equity for this bullshit car. I wish I’ve gone with the Mustang Ecoboost. 🤦‍♂️

I honestly liked the Mazda 3 more than the Miata after test-driving both. Not saying that the Miata sucks but that the Mazda 3 is well composed even compared to the Miata. I hope Mazda gains more reliability.

I've got a 2017 hatchback GT 6MT. I like it. Awesome gearbox. Easy to work on. Quiet plus a nicer interior than the ILX I was going to buy instead of it. Only thing I wish mine had was radar cruise and lane keep, but I think the 17 GTs had that as an option for whatever reason.

JoshDow.us i’ve got a 2018 sedan GT, the radar cruise is nice but useless under 30 unlike most cars. and the lane keep, ive just turned off because it’s so inefficient. you’re not missing out on much tbh
