Great channel. I work at a mechanical and collision repair shop that does restoration work too. We do our best to repair cars properly even if it means we don't make much money on the job sometimes. All of our business is repeat customers and word of mouth. You won't even find us in the business listings in the phone book. It's an absolute joy to see like-minded people doing good work.

$220 - $211 DOES NOT = $55 savings. That’s a $9 difference. Please don’t exaggerate for your sponsors and dup us at the same time. I know core needs to be added in, but what you showed and what you said don’t add up (or subtract).

Building a car that has main structural issues, and then selling it to people as a "premium" model for insane price to people you know damaged car will kill is like building a house with damaged structural walls, selling that house as a expensive premium villa to people you know it will kill entire family when structural walls crack, and then when that happens refusing to admit that you built a damaged product that after some time will due to vibrations crack and kill everyone around it. You must love some companies and their level of greed, and specially people who are still ready to buy their products.

The Vicrez girl in the ad almost made me forget what video I came to watch. Typical German design. You have to take the front apart to change a battery. Not that batteries fail a lot including new batteries. LOL All for more profits from the dealership. No excuse. And of course, German manufacturers never stand behind their cars and pay for their design flaws to be fixed. BE WARNED.

Man I ain't a super savy car guy or nothin but I imagine after you disemble the front end in that area you should jack up the front right if I'm not mistaken ever so slightly keeping an eye on that crack. Once it's where you want it use a... heat gun? Doubt that's strong enough but use a torch of some caliber and channel locks to mend the frame back into shape. Finally just adding those aluminum pieces. Easier said than done obviously but figured I'd offer some help

Retired structural Engineer, and kit car builder. I would look into the following. After removing coil suspension etc reset fractured area steel, sure reset and weld correctly, but in addition add formed specialist high strength stainless steel bracket, locate at top with appropriate new suspension bolt, the lower drilled through bulk head by suggest 3 vertical high strength tensile bolts. Can only suggest on what I could see on video. Check it out thoroughly, the combination will be super strong upon successful fitting. All the best Robert.

I would order a new firewall. Unpick the whole front end ( undo all the spot welds where nesisary) from the firewall forward, and start rebuilding from there.. it's obvious the damage is all in front of the firewall. If u don't disassemble it all u will no doubt miss something that is cracked or buckled u can't see otherwise.. just my thoughts as a panel beater

cannot believe Audi could have overseen that issue during frame design, I mean they have software that points to stress points with heat maps, and its easy to spot weak points in structure design.
