In this video I compare and contrast the features and options of the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. This comparison review covers some of the basic differences between the trim levels and is by no means an all inclusive guide. If you have any questions about equipment not mentioned in the video, please feel free to leave a comment and I will be happy to give some feedback.

the thing that you are not telling anyone is that you can get all of the safety features (advanced cruise control; self parking etc.) on the limited but you have to order it from the factory that is the only difference

Now Jeep has separated the Overland and Summit trim levels. So the summit is a tier above your overland. Most overlands I have seen are stickering in the mid $50k range and summits are in the $60k range.

Can anyone speak to the difference in seat quality Limited vs Overland? My father has a limited and I find the seats somewhat uncomfortable and hard.

My 2015 & 2018 Grand Cherokees were Overlands with HEMI's and pretty much the full option package. For 2019 I went with a Limited with HEMI, but lost a few cool options, but I wanted the HP. All my GC's have been good to me, even the 2018 that needed a transmission replaced. They never stranded me and they can take a hit.

Are the Overland seats more comfortable than the Limited? I found the Limited seats to be a deal breaker for me....Like sitting on Rocks lol

Yeah the Overland seats are perforated leather and the normal Limited seats aren’t so there’s a difference for sure.

Good info but you left out two big points:
      A) Price comparison and
      B) which one would you recommend?

Andrew's Car Reviews In reply to brian quigley

They are about $10k different as equipped. The limited is in the low $40s and the overland is in the low $50s. I would recommend whichever fits your budget better! They are both fantastic choices, you really can’t go wrong. Grand cherokees are my favorite Jeep.
