It's time to take the 2019 refreshed Honda HR-V for a demo drive...

We chose the all new 'Sport' model added to the 2019 line-up for our video this time around and also took along the handy dB noise meter app to see how interior cabin noise was...

Jump in, take a virtual drive with us and tell us what you think of the '19 HR-V Sport.

Can't help you with snow tests here in Central Texas! Sorry. But, ground clearance on the 2WD models is around 7.3" and on the AWD about 6.7".

+Oz Sarpkaya They're definitely in production - and some dealerships will load in to their websites models that are ear-marked for them to receive even before the vehicle has shipped. That's what you're seeing now at this time. Each dealer can see an estimated date of delivery to themselves respectively. Best give them a call, speak with someone who knows about incoming vehicles and they should be able to easily confirm an ETA.

thanks for your reply. I started seeing them show up on dealer websites and sites like car gurus and Edmunds. when I call the dealers they say that it is not in yet. Do you have any other updates? +Round Rock Honda

+Oz Sarpkaya OK... Good news!!! CA has EX and EX-L models going into production this week! Delivery to dealerships probably around 2nd week in December 2018. That's loose information, so don't hold us to it, but multiple colors, and production has just started. Hope this helps. You may just be in luck. Get with your local dealer - they will be able to confirm what they have coming in to them specifically - then reserve one - fast!!!

As soon as production is back-up to full speed we think, as Honda's manufacturing facility that produces the HR-V and Fit was damaged in a storm which caused structural damages and flooding, and production has been in a kind of limp mode since as they work to get the place back to how it should be. No official word on this, but an estimation is mid to late December 2018 perhaps... but it is still a guesstimate.

Checked out the 2019 H-RV and found the seats have NO lumbar support - in the base and Sport models at least. Too bad; all that high tech Honda Sensing but less for driver comfort. A deal breaker for me.

I look forward to availability improvements soon too - lots of inquiries and interest and no product to offer right now, you're dead-on right!

I didn't say - or imply - that "everything is wrong." I shouldn't have said the lack of lumbar support was a deal breaker. Poor choice of words. I like the H-RV a lot and am considering buying a 2019 model. I look forward to Honda getting their production back up to speed after the flooding at the plant in Mexico. I do wish Honda Sensing included blind spot monitoring, but I don't think it does. Cheers. :+)

Understood John - I did find the drive very comfortable in the Sport driver's seat, but we're all made differently and all have slightly differing needs; completely get it. Thanks for watching, and the feedback too.
