There are a lot of 3-row crossovers to choose from. Kia’s new 2020 Telluride is a force to be reckoned with. Available in front and all-wheel drive, this family SUV has the room, safety tech, performance, rugged design and value that shoppers are looking for. Tom Voelk spends 10 days in a top trim SX AWD model and finds it to be a top pick in this very competitive segment.

I love SUV's, but honestly speaking if i need to carry 6 or more, i will go with a toyota siena sport. it drives amazing and does not lack power with its v6 and close to 300 horse power and yet good fuel economy.

You gotta feel sorry for the Ford Explorer and Chevy Traverse trying to compete with this.
KIA kit it out of the park.

I wouldn't want to have to replace a water pump on one of those Duratec 3.5L or 3.7L V6 engines. You would have to drop the engine to remove the timing cover and replace the chain driven water pump. I would have no problem replacing a water pump on a Kia, which is mounted externally and extremely easy to replace.

A friend of mine, who is a chevy worker that builds the tellurides competitor (traverse), BOUGHT a telluride. (not leased!)

He is blown away at the quality and he even admitted, the big 3 is doing it wrong.

This may have been addressed however I'm posting wherever I can to get clarification

The Telly is advertised as capable of towing 5k lbs. which is what the powertrain can handle. however the factory tow package is a 4 pin and the manual shows only rate for 3,510lbs (351lb Tongue weight).

Paying for the Tow package seems like a waste now.... why would KIA attach a hitch that does not maximize the potential of a vehicle that would give the appearance of a 'total package'.I sent my dealership an email on this. Just an fyi. I am not am expert so feel free to give feedback or provide corrections.

He is always at Costco buying out all the toilet paper for the cargo capacity tests. I think he does it for every car. Surely, he must have more toilet paper than he knows what to do with. Does he give it away as gifts?

This is very impressive. A great looking and well equipped packed. My only concern - I was wondering if @5:33 that wear on the leather is from being a press car? I have not seen nappa leather do that on new models from other brands. Thanks for any response!

Kia hit the nail on the head with Telluride. Its broad shouldered style resembles a Tahoe or Suburban which helps its appeal with the American car buying public.

First time viewer, great review. The Mohave has been available here in Korea, but I'm told the Telluride replaces it. Sad to see body on frame with true 4x4 go. They've sold quite well too, always wondered why Kia didn't market it back in the States again... it would have sold!

I work at a Kia dealership and the manufacture just told us that they didn’t expect the demand to be so high and they actually ran out of the Napa leather for the fully loaded version. Every time we get one off the truck it’s gone within three days!
