Two of the most well known car rivals in America are both all-new at the same time. For years, Honda's Accord has always been the more stylish and sportier choice but with Toyota on a mission to inject some passion into their products, buyers looking to purchase a family sedan have a much tougher decision on their hands. The latest Camry now comes with over 300 HP from its available V6 and offers such features like a panoramic sunroof, red leather interior, and standard Toyota Safety Sense-P, Honda responds with an all turbo engine lineup, available 6-speed manual, and premium touches like cooled front seats with memory. Also just like the Toyota, standard Honda Sensing driver assistance, it looks like deciding between these two just got a lot harder but we'll let you know which one is our pick at the end of the video.

my accord almost killed me, braking system failed multiple times. Honda couldn't fix the problem. It has been 2 months and they are on their 4th part replacement. In my opinion dont buy honda and especially their HYBRIDS. I'm WARNING you. costumer serives is terrible, no one gets back to you, I have went back and forth with the head office and dealer ship. This is not how I imagined my new car Experience. I wish I went with the Toyota my second option at the time. Honda has no reliability***

Many times the I4s are more reliable and longevity has more to do with how it's driven and whether it's highway or city miles than whether it's a 4 cylinder or six cylinder. Although I wouldn't put any money on Honda's turbo engines.

Due to computer error the electronic brake on my 2016 Civic engaged while I was driving the car. The Honda service department technicians said they didn't do anything that addressed/corrected the problem. Honda customer service said the brake problem was fixed and refused to compensate me for my losses from trading the Civic for a 2017 Accord without the electronic parking brake. The only way to get rid of the problem was get rid of the Civic. I wonder if the same engineers designed the 737s.

@Scoot Likely I cost them a little money. It will cost me around $15,000 to get into a Camry SE with a mechanical parking brake.

Personally, I would go with the Camry just because it has both port and direct injection and no turbo.

One of the big down sides of the Camry is that its WAY too low to the ground. I was also disappointed that the camry is kind of gutless

In my opinion, the new Camry looks ghetto and the new Accord looks stupid.

Sure. I drive my car, and it moves me where I need to go. At the same time, appearance of my car matters; so does the presenter's attire. If you're a professional in any level, you must dress accordingly. Otherwise, you may as well do a voice-over and remove your appearance from the screen all together.

Do these new Accords still burn oil ? My 2013 Accord burned 1qt of oil every 1000 miles. so I sold it and got a 2016 Camry

Toyota is much better yes it's less driving pushing because not turbo normal aspirate engine but the fact is that turbo in honda will consume more oil and about 150,000 prepare you pocket to put $2000 for a new turbo. I know what i'm talking I have a much better turbo car a vw gti turbo. So yes go for a little heavy more pushing turbo car but remember that sedan are not really sport cars and down the road you will pay for that extra.

Sofyan great review, although Camry looks and sounds good, I too would choose the Accord as I think the engineering which goes into Honda products are a tad better.

SE looks niceeee. Was quoted $24,300 out the door, everything included with protection package... but 2020 comes out soon. Think I'll wait a few months and see what that brings. Maybe they'll be more desperate to sell the 2019 then.

I have both (Accord Sport 1.5 and Camry SE) and I prefer the Accord. Better exterior and interior. The Camry cabin noise is quieter, but it also feels not as sporty as the Accord. The Accord also has better tech.

Went and drove both 19 accord and camry. In my opinion i was very disappointed in the camry. It should not even be considered same class as the accord. Apologized to sales lady at Toyota and told her was going back to the honda dealer. Bought the 19 accord sport.

Dark Symphony i drove my accord first. Then went to Toyota and drove the accord. I bought the 1.5 turbo. Both were priced about the same and for the money just didn’t seem to be even close. The honda has more room in the back for my kids. The console in the camry seemed to rub my leg around my knee and after few seemed annoying. The seats were more comfortable the ride is better in the honda. While the camry says has more horsepower I believe the accord puts more to the ground because it feels a lot more responsive. I honestly think the reason i say was disappointed is because i always heard all of the great things about the Camry. Watched reviews, read reviews and really thought would be the car i ended up buying. After driving both and looking them over I really dont feel they should even be compared. I was blown away by how much the Accord, in my opinion, out did everything over it.
