GM does not want to sell in Europe. Instead we are buying Corean cars, sedans and crossovers, same price level as GM.
I think GM has no real plan.

Chevy isn't American made anymore so I really don't care if they take there hole line away they're one of the worst companies out there besides Chrysler (Fiat) so good bye

Give it time as it's already starting to happen. The crossover trend will begin to slow down as people realize that these vehicles are becoming old people vehicles. The Cruze had so much potential and it's very sad to see it go, as they could have made this a much more viable competition for the Civic but they missed to boat. The Impala, they sold a lot of units but sales were slowing... well of course they were because they haven't done anything to this vehicle in the past few years. Let us not forget that this is the first North American vehicle that made it to the front page of Consumer Reports magazine and GM barely mentioned this. Glad that GM hasn't gone as far as Ford with eliminating cars but they have lost some good ones with a lot of potential.

When a car costs as much as a small house or some land, then ya, thats the real reason for car sales down in my opinion. 75k area for a truck or suv, OR, 95k for 17 acres of high and dry land in Florida, between Tampa and Orlando. Just made this decision and I chose the land hands down. They make trucks, cars and, suv's everyday. Not really making anymore land. Plus, some of these GM Vehicles can be picked up for almost half the price just 2 or 3 years later with about 30,000 miles on it. I see it all the time on cargurus and autotrader. As you guys said in the video, if you guys own one of these cars, comment below, so lol, I am. I own a 2016 impala limited ltz, I bought it in May of 2017 for 16k otd with only 30200 miles. The window sticker in the glove box says 34k.

gm has continued to decline in quality, the sales are a reflection of bad head gaskets and shitty transmissions... i watch sales of vehicles across the board... you will find plenty of used vehicles for sale with head gasket problems and sorry transmissions... truck sales are the same... i cant tell you how many gm trucks in the south that are parked, for sale with bad transmissions...the engines are a different story, fairly reliable but rear ends and transmissions are all crap... poor quality results in poor sales... you would think after all these years they could get it right, unless they made a gamble to make it shitty, customers would buy a newer on... at 25 to 40 thousand dollars iam afraid they made a big mistake... good buy you high dollar cheep built vehicles .. you just bit your own self in the ass

When cas prices rise, FORD and GM are done, only big gas guzzeling cars in their lineup, so the end is in sight for the US car industry

Look GM has went all in on Cheap . They think because their Vehicles have some nice styling , even their Trucks that people will continue to buy their products . NOT , I have a GMC DENALI Sierra 1500 , Good looking truck , nice interior and ride . But I will NEVER OWN ANOTHER GM OR GMC Product again . In, less than 33,000 ( Pampered miles , never done a days work in it life ) the Front AWD Trans Axle blew out , No one knew why . The Stability senor showed up at same time , said the repair would fix it AGAIN NOT , they want nearly 400 to fix it . By the way took three trips after the initial fix to finally get it fixed and stop leaking trans axle oil all over my paved drive way . Just turned 36,000 on my vehicle ( MY GMC INDUSTRIAL GRADE ) the dash Board has cracked , the Specialty Chrome wheels peeling off chrome like Cheap paint on a old house . This is why GM is dying , I have been a huge fan and loyal customer of GM for nearly 40 yrs , NEVER AGAIN ! GM doesn't stand behind their products the Customer Service is nothing but lip service . GM isn't smart enough to understand what ripple effect is . When someone is known to ALWAYS DRIVE AND OWN GM , and Which now I am in the process of ridding myself of the last GM piece of Junk I will ever own . None of my Family will be buying anything GM . Why, the best they had to offer fell apart and they don't want to fix anything , But it doesn't end there Friends are talking about it , Colleagues ( from world wide company ) People ask me all the time how I like my Truck , cause it is a really nice looking Trick , bet you can guess what kinda of reference I am giving . I know sometimes you may get a bad one , BUT FIX IT , KNOW THIS ONE FACT Once you sign on the dotted line GM could care less about you or any problems you have , They just think like this , next sucker please , END WITH THIS < WHY IS GM HAVING TO OFFER UP TO 20% off their vehicles , even their so called top sellers their Trucks . Cause People who previously or have one now know they are Cheaply Made . Most the parts coming from China or Mexico Now , GM should be honest and change their logo to CM , CHINA MADE , since most of their parts assemble in them come from their

I am mad about the Impala, such a beautiful majestic car that has been around for so long, I think they should just get rid of GMC’s it’s just a liability, like the Yukon is a Tahoe with a different badge,Let’s be honest get rid of the badge you gotta Chevrolet.

The worst ones was the Volt, Cruze & Malibu as they had Chinese transmissions in them. I owned the Cruze & Malibu & they had issues with the transmission & paint peeling mostly. My 16 Malibu had transmission replaced 2x one @ 14k & 63k. My 17 Cruze replaced at 15k. These are piss poor built as some were made in Mexico & some in Ohio & Kansas City which closed now. GM was much better with the older vehicles unlike today's garbage.

I think one reason they are so popular is because people feel safe in them. On a side note whenever I see a woman in the truck I can't help but think that she's a terrible driver and needs a big safe vehicle

Companies like GM and Ford will be screwed when the economy inevitably collapses, again (this time for good)! This world needs more basic, cheap, RELIABLE product than expensive, bulky, unobtainable trash. Us Americans keep pricing basic things like cars and housing out of those who live paycheck-to-paycheck, and it's sick. It's a small wonder people are still breeding!

Why are people only buying Truck SUVs & crossovers. Do you want to know the reason I drive a car. It Now sucks driving a car because every SUV truck and crossover blocks your vision you can't see anything you can't see around them you can't see in front of them. Everybody is tired who are in cars not being able to see around the SUV crap that's why everybody is buying SUVs

We have a 1st-generation Cruze. It’s an excellent value. We compared it to the Civic and bought the Cruze. We don’t regret it.

I’m sorry to see the Volt dropped. The 2nd-generation Volt is the only electric car I would have bought. It would have been a good alternative to our Cruze but we don’t have a place to plug it in. The Volt sold few units but had a high customer satisfaction rating. Meanwhile, you see Prius everywhere, like cockroaches. It’s a shame.

I think several of these discontinues are mistakes. I own a Chevy Traverse, which was a mistake on my part. The car is beautiful but the technology sucks! The engine mounts fail straight out of the boxes, which is after the factory mounts failed under warranty. But even then I loved my car, except for the piss poor service! And Chevy, like most American car companies, do not understand overseas markets. Some countries drive on the left! Don't they ever get that?

But I loved my Caddy's and would own one today. Only thing is, I want a car and you sold the ones I loved.

The Cruze is dying from downed sales caused by it's EXTREMELY high mechanical failure rate. The Chevy Cruze is one of GMs highest mechanically failing cars EVER in the history of the company. These are absolutely HORRENDOUS cars. For example: An astoundingly high amount of automatic transmissions that fail within 30,000 miles from new. ...no joke. That's a real thing.

Buick moved to "sportier" cars because their target buyers, for so many decades, were now aged and dying. They realized they hadn't marketed the brand to a young enough crowd that once the target buyers died nobody would buy the brand any more.
