Need a Toyota? Are you in the Florida Pan Handle?
Hit up my buddy Chris Rieck: (217) 433-5762‬ and tell him I sent you!

Man this new little Rav Adventure is pretty awesome. It is very well put together and has so many bells and whistles, especially for Toyota. This Rav 4 was in that beautiful ruby flare pearl and man was it stunning. I still want to do a color in lunar rock though.

This new gen of Rav 4 has Toyota safety sense 2.0 as well. The ew stearing assist function is incredible and works so well. It is truly a poor mans Tesla.

I am trying to get better with my reviews and I feel I have a system down now, and the content for reviews will get better and better. Thank you so much for watching and I hope this video was helpful!!

Except for the odd looking display screen, the RAV4 is awesome looking. Toyota at did a really good job with the new design, and gas mileage is phenomenal. I suspect the dual injector engine should eliminate the carbon problem common with some direct injection engines. We have an older Honda CR-V that seems peppy to me, but with 30 more horsepower, I bet the new RAV gets up to highway speed in short order.

Adventure is $40k. Overpriced. Orange details they picked up from Forester. Tabled is disrespect for consumers. This is not $15000 Yaris.

Great review buddy, these Toyota dealerships should hire you to review and showcase their vehicles. You have a good system that answers questions a regular potential buyer might be asking. Like, how all those little gizmos apply to everyday driving and living with the vehicle. My wife like your wife, also drives a RAV4. I’m sure this new one will capture her interest at some point.

The HVAC controls look like an early 1980s car radio, nice to see decent sized control knobs though. It is good they took the ride height up, but I wish they would go back to the old 4x4 look rather than this euro styled volvo/BMW look, this still looks a shopping cart, people keep saying 4 runner front end, well I dont really see that and overall it looks less substantial than the dumpy previous model rav4, but it will sell lots and I guess that's what it is about, for the money if one wants "adventure" there are better options. Oh and US spec does not get mud flaps, when will they learn if one goes of the asphalt they need mud flaps period, I wonder if the TRD version will get them, anyone buying a vehicle should specify mud flap as an accessory.

+Leti Gonzales Maybe in more extreme offroad conditions, that the rav4 would not venture into, but on roads and forest trails etc the flaps prevent mud, stones and grit etc from punishing the side and underbody of the vehicle. Check out the mud flaps on this canadian market trail/adventure..

Or read this , which explains the benefits of mudflaps.

Isn’t the first thing offroaders do is take off their mud flaps, because they will get stripped off on the trails anyway?

Great review Jon! I can't get enough of the front end of this Adventure model. It is truly a baby 👶 Tacoma in the front. Only things i don't like are the tacky orange accents on the inside. Also i don't like the aggressive rake with the rear window.

Yea the rear rake is very pronounced especially with the squared off rear. It’s honestly like the 4runner and taco had a baby!

Contemplating a new Rav4 for the Mrs. Nice quick review. I find the "hold" feature helps in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Not having to hold the brake all the time is helpful. Wife's Honda HR-V.

That and if she does light off road at an incline it’s nice to not have that trembling foot on the break as you try to navigate. Wish the 4runner had this feature.

Will be interesting to compare it to the TRD. Mind boggling that Toyota doesn’t throw in a leather wrapped wheel unless it’s a top trim (this and Tundra for example). Thanks for the review!

blind spot monitor should be on all trims as well that is more important for safety than adaptive cruise control.... actually using cruise control is not safe, shows you are not actively driving your vehicle.
