Laser Interceptor used to be a big daddy before DragonEye with VPR. Blinder went by the way of the wayside when the TruSpeed S came out.

Its funny, its rare, but there is a really old Laser gun called the Stalker LZ-1 that will still get a PT on occassion at extreme close range.

ALP $1,359.75 before instillation. This will have to wait until I trade in my car.

ALP starts at $749. When you go to their website, you'll typically see it with the Net Radar DSP radar detector added on by default too. Remove them if you don't need them.

Depends on how many heads you get and which accessories you choose. You can price it out here: http://bit.ly/1QbEP58

What about a combo radar detector/jammer and a laser detector/jammer? Is there one that does all or do you need 2 separate devices?

@Vortex Radar I really like the ALP. Is there an option to integrate a radar detector/ jammer the same way as the ALP? I don't want a bunch of stuff on the windshield. I like a nice clean install/ stealth look.

They are two separate devices, but you can get some that integrated together into one unit.

Now that ALP came out with the TX heads, is it necessary to use one in combination with the regular sensors? Or are just the regular sensors enough to protect against the latest laser guns? BTW I drive a F80 M3 if that helps.
      Thanks!

Not sure about Prolaser, but I remember reading that LTI lyte lasers are not recommended for use in inclement weather as well as thru the window.  You have any details about that?

I have noticed my Ultralyte LRB really struggles shooting though a window while my PL3 can do it no problem.

Why would you drill your firewall? There are already grommets for wires the car uses. You just fish your wire trough the existing firewall grommet. Duh.
