On October, 24th, Ford Motor Company flew me to Dallas, Texas to be among the first to drive the new Ford Edge ST. Despite the all-day rain, we had a good time, but unfortunately the rain made filming difficult, and as a result, I didn't get to publish my review the way I wanted it! Fast forward to now, and with this gorgeous White Platinum Tri-Coat Edge ST! I was able to insert some of the Performance Blue pre-production prototype vehicle footage that I did take for perspective, however. Anyways, enjoy this detailed in-depth review of the all new 2019 Ford Edge ST!

We like to cover everything from classics to high-end and everything in between.

I wish this ST got the same instrument cluster the ST-line got In Europe and the all clear led headlights.

good review, overpriced for a nonluxury suv, just under 6 sec 0-60 its slow, interior is dated, instrument cluster is dated, shouldn't have a ST badge, 55k fully loaded at that price point their are better options

There really are not any better options. Every competitively equipped vehicle that can match or beat it in performance costs $10K min more. 401A optioned without the big brake option will be the most common package and can be had for mid 40s.

I hope the engine and transmission perform better than you say it does Especially for something this expensive. Also like you said I think they should have updated the center stack and instrument cluster a little bit. Other than that still looks okay.

His driving review was done on a pre-production model. I believe there was an update done to the software that fixed alot of the concerns people had. I test drove a loaded model and both in sport and normal mode there was no delay at all. In fact it was almost too responsive, resulting in me launching it at every green light. The steering and handling is a HUUGE selling point. It is much more fun to drive than i expected.

Seems odd seeing an SUV with the ST badge, maybe it will grow on me.

Yeah. I think Ford is making an Explorer ST as well. We shall see. They need a much more responsive transmission in an ST vehicle, though.

Great Review.. also you can turn off the pumped in exhaust sound with the Forscan Software but when you do you also loose noise cancellation but I think that is a good trade off.

I have several videos on the 2017 Pacificas, and the 2018-2019 models are carryover models, basically.
