After the Jeep went everywhere during WWII, the brits made the land rover and the japanese made the BJ and the flips made jeepneys.

Is my 2008 FJ Cruiser still a Land Cruiser or was it split away from that designation? Just curious.

Toyota has won Dakar ONLY once, in 2019. Mitsubishi is the most successful manufacturer in Dakar history- 12 wins. However, Land Cruiser and 4runner are great vehicles. So is Pajero.

The editing on this is epic! I have a 71 fj40. A solid truck in every way. Not even the new stuff has six bolts. Overbuilt then. Overbuilt now. Thanks Toyoda.

Just got stucked in my driveway today because we had lots of rain showing up here in australia....just popped in frontlockers 4wd and crawled thru it. Owning a Landrover D1 as well with flexy coils, 33s and other extras... She breaks down to often. Im using my hzj75rv Troopcarrier now as a my daily driver. My 79 series v8 ute just on the farm.

      What my uncle always said

If you want to go bush, take a Land Rover if you want to come back, take your Land Cruiser. I reckon its the australian version of it. I dont mind my crawly Land Rover. Shes doing heck of work with those locked diffs , 33s and 4 inch flexy suspension.
