This video is an attempt at aligning a previously leaked document with actual specifications from the official launch of the 2020 GT500. Also, if you take the baseline FP350S Mustang because the engine is almost identical, and add the HP that the 2.6 Liter Eaton produces, you will come up with this number as well. What do you guys think? Please comment down below any opinions /views on the matter. Thanks.

Nailed it lmao. Only issue is the DCT is more efficient than the old trans so less drivetrain loss...

I was told by a Ford dealer to google "gt500 dash" images and it will show the hp numbers on the gauge cluster- 772 hp. 7th gear and 72 mph is the hp numbers, dont know how true it was but he said the gt350 did the same image when it was released

I agree with your opinion on dodge catching them off guard. They were counting on that 707hp challenger to be the hp bench mark.

Corey Rogers If you haven’t noticed nobody is playing with dodge anymore lol. Chevy and Ford packed up their slicks and trade them for Pilot Sport Cup 2’s , and forfeited the drag strip in favor of the actual track. Chevy and Ford gave up after the demon was created(even though that thing won’t run a 9.65 unless it’s down hill in a tornado with a stick figure steering it... 🤔😒🤣).

What a disappointment weighs the same as a hellcat challenger has the same horsepower, Will be just as fast another heavy muscle car. Camaro zl1 much lighter a little bit less horsepower but we'll beat it.

What Ford is refusing to understand is Ford Shelby enthusiasts won't easily switch likewise the Dodge hellcat lovers won't ever switch to the Shelby. Hardly does it haporn. They'd rather add the other or lease it for a short while but after a short while jump back to what they love. It's a love game, FORD...

In calling now well over 40 Ford dealers I have given up on getting a 2020 model. I also find it quite disgusting what they Ford Dealers are doing to the public. They are now asking anywhere from $10,000 to $40,000 over MSRP. Nothing like "RAPING and PILLAGING" the public. Ford can share some of the blame. My philosophy is this: If a person is good enough to want to spend the money for a High End Ford Product then Ford should build the car for them. None of these games and shenanighans that these Ford Dealers are doing. It seems that good business practices and ethics is just gone in this country anymore. And people wonder why car dealers have such low regard by the public. They get a chance to stick a knife in your ribs and they twist it while its in there.

726 was the original HP number, but Ford is back at work trying to get the number over 750. I hope it is 777, that number would rock the socks off (they are also trying to get weight below 4,000 lbs).

I think the car is a beauty and it definitely has the advantage over the older gt500's as it is supposed to not only be a straight line car but a track beast! BUT I have heard the dealers will be adding a hefty premium on top of MSRP which makes it a pass in my book I would not even consider it if I have to do work to make it competitive with my neighbors red eye. I will stick with the gt350 it has proven itself to be a very pleasant daily and track menace.
