A Review and Comparison of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and it's sister, the Latitude Plus. The 2019 represents a makeover for the venerable Cherokee featuring new 2.0 turbo engines, a 9 speed automatic, and a handsome new exterior. The Trailhawk is an off-road expert, while the Latitude Plus is more street-civil, but can easily handle the rough terrain as well. They look similar, so we thought a comparison would be helpful.

Personally I'd like to have seen more tire/wheel options for the Trailhawk, for those of us who aren't going to be off-roading, but like the general appearance of the TH over the Cherokee's other trims.
Plus, those AT tires on the TH are noisier on the highway, especially at high speeds, and the gas mileage is generally worse because of the tread design. A set of 19's--even 18's--as an option, would be a nice option. And why higher trim levels like the TH don't provide twin power front seats is beyond me.

all those options are a waste of money. you can save so much buying it online doing it yourself. i plan on buying a altitude plus.

Great vid. I grabbed the 2019 TH and love it. Once thing you might want to mention if you do another video is the approach angle difference on the front bumper. Makes it a lot easier to traverse taller objects on the TH.

Love the Cherokees but there is nothing silky smooth about the 9 speed transmission.

The Trailhawk comes with the blackout trim as part of a more aggressive oriented package, the latitude keeps the chrome as a show of luxury. Both these Cherokee's had the 2.0 turbo

Yet the v6 can tow 500 lbs more than the 2.0

Likely because the V6 does not rely on building and maintaining boost. Street performance, the turbo is definitely the punchier of the two with it's midrange pop, but with something behind it, the response and displacement of the v6 would carry the advantage

Thank you! And it's Granite Crystal Metallic, I love the color on the Trailhawk mixed with the matte black highlights. Hydro Blue is a neat color in person, not for everyone though, and Olive Green is cool for the more military look.

Love the new look, especially on the Trailhawk! Also, love the 2.0Turbo! I have had many cars with that engine and it is just awesome!!

The Turbo is a great little engine! Plenty of power and lots of TORQUE . These new 2019s have a different headlight design and I think really helps with the design. It's a properly good looking car now. You're right, on the Trailhawk with all the black highlights and widebody, they look just super in person. Especially in green or the bright blue.
