Did they fix the remote start where if you remote start it, and you open the door, the engine cuts off, and you have to restart the car? (2016 outback has this annoyance)

@Planet SubaruI Thanks for the response. It's a strange decision. All other remote starts 1) you can't open the door with the key fob 2) you can't take the car out of park with the key vob, so if they are worried about somebody breaking the window and stealing the car in remote start mode, they couldn't . And This way you can open the car door, grab the ice scraper, and the car keeps running instead of it shutting off, then you have to get in the car to start it back up. Just weird design.

It's intentional, not sure what the engineers were thinking might happen...

Ascent takes a bunch more. The larger cargo capacity is apeeling to larger families.

No but it’s available as an accessory that we can install.

3 mountain bikes in the back...i don't think so. There is a lot of unusable space between those second row seats. Also, the height of the opening at the rear gate is a bit shallow top to bottom.

rollingrecliner did it. Fyi. Ascent premium w/captain chairs. We are getting a hitch for them tho.

The Ascent is also 4 inches wider, for those of us navigating NYC streets past double parked vehicles.
