2019 Suzuki Jimny 4x4 AllGrip vs 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2-Door
4x4 Off-Road Driving and Visual Design Comparison.

The Wrangler engine range is enhanced with the introduction of two new units – the 2.2-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel and the 2.0-litre turbocharged in-line four-cylinder petrol. All Wrangler engine options are linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission, new for this model.

The new 2.2-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel engine features second-generation MultiJet technology, four valves per cylinder, a belt-driven Double Over Head Camshafts (DOHC), 2,000-bar Common Rail injection system, solenoid injectors and a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT). It delivers 200 horsepower at 3500 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm. It also features fuel-saving Engine Stop Start (ESS) technology.

The 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine delivers 272 horsepower at 5250 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm and features ESS. The new 2.0-litre petrol is available now.

Both engines make the vehicle compliant to the current Euro 6/D standards.

Suzuki Jimny powered by new 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 101PS – now of lightweight construction for improved fuel efficiency.

The former 1.3-litre engine is replaced by a 1.5-litre unit in the new Jimny. It delivers higher torque than its predecessor with ample torque available at low revolutions which enhances driving performance especially while driving off-road where a low engine speed is often needed. Despite the increased displacement, it has smaller overall dimensions than the engine it replaces, with 15 per cent reduced weight, contributing to enhanced fuel efficiency.

Two Susuki model grades available from launch; SZ4 priced at £15,499, SZ5 priced at £17,999 with manual transmission and £18,999 with automatic transmission.

Wrangler Sahara with a starting price of £44,865 OTR for the Sahara 2.2 MultiJet II 200hp 4x4 Automatic 8-Speed 2-Door version, the new ‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything’ Jeep Wrangler blends together excellent on-road performance, legendary off-road capability, and outstanding value for money.

This is not a comparison - they’re on different trails. You merged 2 separate pieces of film footage; Jeep on the moors and a Suzuki in a forest. Then added some promo shots and music.

Thank you for the cool video. I like both vehicles and I currently have the Jeep JKRU. I bet its fun to offroad in the Jimny as it is in the Jeeps. The Suzuki Samurai was a very fun offroader from back in the days.
