40k is too much for me. I bought a 2018 base model looks like this one except not 4x4. Got it at a bank repo lot for 21k with 7000 miles on it. Was told by finance it’s valued @29k so I’m thinking of trading up & take advantage of dealer year end rebates.

I have a 2010 4X4 STX with the 4.6 3V and be paid off in two months! I replaced the STX four by sticker with the Ford 4X4 decal. I love the simplicity and workhorse of the STX. Mine has 74K on her because I drive a Focus Titanium hatch 2012 with manual trans as my commute car. My truck is a work horse that I use on my property I live at 3000ft in the California Sierra Nevada Mountains. I like natural aspersion vehicles because of reliability but my 92 Fox I’m restoring will have a power added. Cheers and nice truck!

Not necessarily, it depends on the area you live in, tax percentage, trade in, dealer cash and rebates. For instance, where I live the biggest discounts on Lariat and King Ranch is usually 8k total but where my cousin lives it's usually around 11k. Also, tax is 10 percent in my area but lower in his area. His taxes are like 5 percent I think. So do the math and my cousin can always get one about 5 or 6k cheaper than I can.

We got a 2018 lariat for 49k is just depends on what dealer you go to. We traveled out of our state to get it over 600 miles away but 10k off we thought it was worth it.

36.5K + extras to 40.5K OTD is actually not ridiculous if you got a warranty. In Texas it'd be worth the flight though man. We have great deals. I am not a salesperson but google as their internet prices are usually on point (gotta fight them on some of those extras though)

Tacos sucks. The only good about Toyota’s are the motors. The plastic parts or interior it falls apart after some time.

You paid msrp? That’s too much. You said they were asking 36,000 and you paid out the door $40,500 or so right? You paid what the dealer asked for therefore you got screwed. Sorry to say. Nice truck considering buying a new one for 35,000 otd hopefully. Lol

Victoria M He said original price was 45k dingdong... he also said including TTL which can run about 2,000. So with any common sense in your brain u can assume he may have gotten an extended warranty as well since they run around 2 grand... which would be around 4 grand total...
