overall nice plane. I don't recommend using the stock elevator push rods as they are very flimsy and bend a great deal when in use. i replaced them with a higher quality push rod and it helped a ton. Also was a lot slower than expected, but still a nice flyer.

Great vid! Helped to sell me on this jet. Curious, did you go with the recommended 6-7 mm deflection of the elevator as advised in the manual? I have it set up that way, just wanted feedback before maiden. Just seems like a lot of up elevator to start with. Keep the great videos coming!!!

It was a misaligned elevator causing the roll which we played with aileron trim to correct.

At least get a dx6i so you can program dual rates and expo. I think it's $130. If you can afford to spend $200 on a radio and you only need 6 channels I would highly recommend the dx6. 250 model memory compared to 10 model memory on the dx6i and it has a lot more features

We have a lot of flight time on this plane and it's perfect just the way it is, at least to us. We never tried anything else but stock. We always said if we had to describe this plane in one word "solid." So in our opinion and recommendation, stay with the 4s 2200mah.

Ryan, I have the Roc F-16 and it is a great plane but after watching the F-22 video I will be placing my order for the 4S version. Can you tell me the top speeds of both planes? I figure the F-16 is hitting 55-60 mph. I wanted to tell you the F-16 flies sooooooooo well...and the landings are way cool. I made the adjustment taking the bend out of the steering arm and put a FOD screen on the bottom cheater hole ( epoxied some paint strainer bag nylon ) and have had no problems at all. So many people complain about small stuff and pick planes apart but I get such a kick out of messing with them and remember we get to fly these things!!! Hell they look great on the coffee table too...

My first EDF was the Eflight Mig 15 and this is the plane that should be someones beginner jet. Did I mention how good the plane looks??? I

Thanks for all of your videos, you and Capt. Mike really explain things well and you guys are the reason I keep buying more planes...

My brother bought one (4 cell). Can't seem to get it 5 feet off the ground before he crashes it. Can't figure out the issue. Did complete preflight checks and it all seems fine. He does have the Spektrum 635 receiver installed. Dying to get this thing in the air, but getting disheartened fast. He's had it for 2 or 3 months now.
      Already replaced the fuse. Lol
      Any advice?

I'd say dig into the esc settings and make sure the timing is set correctly. Also with gyros and rxs with them they must not be moved before the initialization happens. Many times you'll hear the regular esc chimes then the surfaces will twitch sometimes 5 seconds later. If you don't wait for that weird things can happen.

Belly land I say yes. You may have to remove the sleeve from the nose gear but otherwise everything should be up out of the way. Look at the pics on our product page, there is a shot of the bottom and you can see for yourself. Just click the link in the description from YouTube. Price 149.00 4s version.
