Did you dent your Wrangler at the 9:55 point when the door opened without the harness?

I only remove the front panels from my JL(it feels topless) I think some people love to play with their Jeeps so all this work to remove top & doors is fun for them, like this guy, he is having fun! Others buy those after market electric ones so the back side can easily be lifted up. Sadly, the retractable top is not for 2 doors Wranglers & I'm wondering how much noise those get in the freeway. Well, Jeep Wranglers are big toys for many of us. No doors, No tops, No front panels, No Problem! lol

Why around the top frame when you have the freedom top off did they get rid of the rounded padded roll cage with pair cord handles it doesn’t look as clean and the handles gave it more of a rugged look

Gotta LOVE the many Wrangler videos. Always learn something new.
Now I'm much more informed before I go order my first Jeep.

Have a JK, but I put on my hard top during the winter, and soft top in the summer. Makes it easier to go covered just in case of inclement weather. My 2 cents...

How about hard top w/ Bestop Sunrider? Best of all worlds? Can leave it on in winter too with Black Twill fabric.

Problem with taking front doors off, you don't have any mirrors, unless they still make a relocation kit.👍😁

I have after market mirrors that bolt into the top hinges of the doors.

I would much rather have the three-piece hardtop. That way I can get a soft top or get a factory soft top if I choose to.

Well that and a much more refined interior, an ACTUAL infotainment system, much more efficient trans & engine options, plus an upcoming Diesel option supposedly for 3rd or 4th quarter of this year.

Unless you live in an area pretty much devoid of rain,I wouldn’t bother taking the top fully off.Yes,it is a hassle, and yes,you need another person, unless you have a hoist set up.The sky touch roof is the only alternative, albeit an expensive one.

It's only 5 degrees Celsius but I'm happy to be driving without doors or roof. That's the most Canadian thing I've heard all week

Thanks Steven we have a JK with both tops and my wife was saying we should get a new JL with the power top... for the hours work twice a year swapping the tops I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My previous Jeep was a hard top which I rarely took off so I decided to try the power top with my new one. It works great for me especially with living in an apartment complex. One button and you can open and close. Love it!!

I have had Jeeps for three decades with every type of top imaginable and I have found the Bestop Sunrider for hardtops is the best of all worlds.

I was thinking to buy one but I heard is much more wind noise when you drive... the JL two front panels are easier and lighter to be removed than the ones from the JK. So I’m good!

I've driven a Jeep TJ in New England for the last decade, sold my hardtop in year three and havent looked back. Soft top is louder but so more accessible. I did have to replace it last year so 9 years of life from the factory and it was like 450 bucks for a replacement. NBD.

On the JL the soft top just looks weird. On the TJ and earlier it looks like it belongs whereas on the JK and JL it looks like it was an afterthought.
