Auto companies simply need to read viewer comments to figure out what the public desires instead of trying to confuse and continue their status quo.

The Bolt is a fine car, but looks matter, and this car looks goofy. So goofy, in fact, I wonder if GM is trying to sabotage their EV sales on purpose. Tesla's aim to make sexy, futuristic, great driving cars is simply common sense.

What's wrong with Bolt? Made by GM who got bailed out by the American taxpayer and who lost 11 billion when the remaking shares were sold at a loss. Then GM closes plants and lays off thousands of their employees, wonder if they used gender equity to decide who got chopped? GM is the last manufacture I would ever consider buying, we now have 2 newer Toyota Corollas that were so inexpensive and are so darn reliable. Yea my Roadtrek is GM product but they don't offer any class b camper vans in Toyota.

In states where EV quotas are mandated you will have a tough time finding Bolts with knowledgeable able sales staff.

That means great deals on an EV, the bolt has the benefit of being a better utility vehicle if you have kids or dogs and are active. I don't mind getting a bolt covered in dirt or snow, or even if the golden retriever jumps in back straight from the lake. It's more a cuv, if it was a model 3 I'd be pissed off!
We've owned a model S two years and love it most of the time.

Look at the headlines here. *plunge* *stall* *slowing down* Negative news sells. Remember how Autoline made headlines by trashing the Model 3? I'm not sure this is news.

I would buy a Chevy Bolt if they weren't so expensive. Basically you're getting a Kia for Cadillac prices.

The problem with the Bolt is that it is marketed as a Chevy. No panache in driving a Chevy no matter how awesome the car is. People will pay extra for the panache of a Tesla just as kids will pay $200 for a sneaker that says "Air Jordan" Yes, we are that shallow.

Electric cars are nothing more than a fad purchase. Like others specialty vehicles like Hummer or FJ, you will purchase one time. This car is better than Tesla in distance performance, but like Tesla, is an expensive grocery hauler. I live in Texas and it would not be useful for distance travel.

$44,000 for one of these? are you daffy? I'm getting ready to by a '12 Cadi CTS with 11K miles on it for about $11,000. I can drive the Cadi 330,000 miles with the difference in price (at current gas prices) - and I'll be driving a Cadillac instead of a golf cart.
