What are the benefits of VR Tuned?
- #1 priority is our customer service to you!
- Our tuning is used worldwide. We have powered vehicles of all types.
- All ECU tunes can be reverted back to stock if necessary.
- With the VR Tuned ECU Flash, basic bolt-on performance parts will not require a retune of your
ECU. Adding parts such as an exhaust, intake, plenum, pulley, will all adjust with the tune.
- If you add higher octane fuel, the ECU will adjust accordingly.
- We can tune cars worldwide including JDM, EU, Australian, and USA cars for different types of octane or environments.
- Other custom enhancements are available if requested and applicable.
- We test and dyno tune on our own cars to make sure what you get is safe, reliable, and gives you the results you want!

What kind of 0-60 could one expect with this flash? I know its not this cars specialty but still would like to know.

Because of the strong gain in low end power, you would see a significant change. However we did not actually get a change to test repeatedly in a control environment.

I'm honestly completely satisfied with the stock power it's more than enough you don't buy this car if you want big power get yourself a 2jz aristo or supra or mustang if that's the goal. The type r has too much go for the street they could have gotten away with less power. It's my daily I have no interest in big power out of it just nice fun handling that I can enjoy on some curvy roads through the country and parks.

Wtf are you doing taking the whole ecu out of the car ? It’s not 2001 just get a programmer with wide band that way you can continuously adjust the tune . I can’t take this seriously.

What's that exhaust, though? There's no way that's stock. The type r, as much of a beast it is, sounds terrible with the stock exhaust.

Vivid Racing In reply to Ryan Wiles

It has a catback exhaust and a intake. It doesnt matter if it has the exhaust, the point is what the DELTA is from just the tune.

It's fast. Still has power to weight. The thing is not like back in the days of N/A. I still like it. I crashed my s2k. Im not sure if I want another s2k or the type R. S2k feels slow for me now. Type r is fast stock. But I like na and the looks for the s2k. Specially with top down
