      I drive my Type R now a year in Germany. I realize very clearly: this car needs no engine tuning because it is well equipped with 320 hp. At this I am not at all sure if it really is not synonymous more horsepower, because this wonderful part has an incredible boom. At driven 17000 kilometers I am max. 5x been overtaken on our highways, because the moments do not forget man. Really, well done Honda.

      Fk8 horsepower/tq output is determined by 1. AIT and 2. EGR . That's it. If you are in 60' ambient temps and your intake temp stays under 40c, you'll see 280-290 on a Dyno jet, stock. If you are in the south, with 85+ ambient temps, your AIT will read over 40c, closer to the 51c table, and you'll make 270's all stock.

      You can make all the power requests and torque requests you want to the maps, but the ECU will pull boost and timing based on those 2 factors alone every second the car is running. Moral of the story: don't expect high numbers on a Dyno jet if it's 75+ degrees out, and buy an intercooler alongside your Ktuner platform.👍

      My 2016 civic/lemon with 16,000 miles on it problems:
      While driving my Civic/death trap a computer error caused the computer controlled electric/electronic parking brake to engage four times in series sliding the rear tires and jerking the car to a stop. The Honda service department said they could not/did not fix the problem. I traded my Civic death trap for a 2017 Accord with a manual parking brake, and ask the American Honda Motor Co., Inc customer service  to compensate me for my $3,669.49 loss on the deal.  Their customer service department brush off employee said the parking brake problem was fixed although the tech told me it was not, and refused compensation.  Bottom line: if you buy a lemon, you own a lemon. Enjoy the ride.

      Other irritating features:
      Squeaky windshield wipers, had to replace to maintain my sanity.
      Excessive drivetrain noise. I installed sound deadening insulation in the floor front and back seat and the noise continued.
      3 of 4 out of round tires replaced due to drivetrain noise. The irritating noise continued.
      I now drive a 2019 Altima SL without drive train noise.
