I understand what you said about the trackhawk looking just like a SRT or even to regular people looks just like a limited grand Cherokee...lol.
But, this is just my opinion, I think that's kinda cool and I like it. Being on the road people thinking that is a slow jeep SUV and they have no idea it can wreck even a few supercars.
When I get mine, I will debadge it, I will take off the supercharged and trackhawk emblems. I will paint the calipers too. I think is better to look under the radar. Besides if you look a trackhawk it looks menacing already even though it might look from far away like a base model grand Cherokee.
From the back and front it does look more aggressive.

I personally think the engineers actually wanted the trackhawk to look like a regular grand Cherokee. I think they did that on purpose and I think its brilliant.
Of course there are other car guys that like to flex and show off and that's why they dislike the trackhawk being what it looks like, but I say its actually a good thing.

The Red Interior. Too much Red. Black is so much better. But only a Trackhawk has the Red Laguna.

Agreed about it not being much different, aesthetically, than the other Grand Cherokee models. For 100k, it needed more defining features. Both interior and exterior. This was the main reason why I didn't buy one.

Agree with you fully with the exception of the drive mode selector... tell ur passengers to keep their hands off. But for 100k, it needs more creature comforts.... no knob to control the infotainment and it desperately needs more cameras. I’m still in the Jeep SRT but considering an F-Pace SVR or X5M for my next vehicle.

Marty Alowishious In reply to Marty Alowishious

RobWilli I get it and agree that the X5m is going to cost. They also come used with extended warranties. There’s also a tube available (if we’re going that route) which pushes numbers up to about 7something. Not specifically my thing but it’s an option. The trackhawk is kool don’t get me wrong but as a daily driver, I would prefer more options for the price. Yeah it’s nice for a Jeep, but coming from foreign cars, it’s less than great. I still luv my SRT though!!!

Oh and it’s not the fastest stock SUV. Maybe the fastest affordable, but not the fastest.

RobWilli In reply to Marty Alowishious

@Marty Alowishious I know there will always be a faster car, but only if tuned. Pure stock the trackhawk is the fastest to date.
I personally own BMWs and I love the X5M. The new 2020 X5M is around the corner and we will have to see, I hope it does 0-60 somewhere around 3.5 or 3.6 sec in the competition package. Since the new X3M competition is doing 4 sec flat. I don't think the X5M will do same acceleration.
The only thing is that like I said the new X5M will be easily 120+k
That's were the trackhawk although it doesn't have the superior luxury interiors, beats its competitors, because is the cheapest and the fastest SUV on the current market.
And honestly, the trackhawk it's not trash man when it comes to interior luxury, for being a jeep is actually very luxurious.
You also have to remember that you can get a fully equipped trackhawk right now for 85k...that's not bad. Yes the MSRP is 100k but in reality the market for trackhawks is viable.
Now if I had the extra money I would definitely go for the X5M competition but that's the issue...lol. It's a very expensive luxury performance SUV.
Between the trackhawk and the X5M competition there will be probably a 40k difference, that my friend, is quite the bag...lol.

Marty Alowishious In reply to Marty Alowishious

RobWilli you’re right! I don’t have to be the fastest... Hell, there will always be someone faster and if I’m chasing that, imma spend a lot of money anyway. I just wish that the Trackhawk had more to offer than the performance numbers. Then I could understand the cost. As of right now, I’m good with my JEEP GC SRT.

RobWilli In reply to Marty Alowishious

Only problem with those SUVs is that they don't have the performance of the trackhawk, which is the trackhawk's best feature and why people buy them. If you don't care about being the fastest and having the best performance SUV to date, then yes the X5M is definitely a great car. But you also have to take into consideration that a fully equipped X5M is somewhere around 120+k which is a lot of money.

If you want to stand out you can buy a Challenger. It’s a SUV. How does a young man like you afford a 100k vehicle? Even leading hear things is expensive. Be careful not to mention gas price. I have a regular Grand Cherokee with V6 and over 100k miles and let me tell you they all have some issues with mileage (oil pump, transmission intercollegiate, emissions module, thermostats, steering racks). Get a extended warranty. Any way great vehicle but be careful how much you spend

So expensive for a Jeep but they do look great and are fun to drive. I am going with a 5.7L Overland for $40K less and installing a performance exhaust and cold air intake. This will be enough V8 Hemi power for me. I may put in a new kitchen with the money I have saved.

@William R I put a Flowmaster catback exhaust and a Mopar cold air intake on my 2013 Overland with no warranty issues and it sounds great. I will do the same with my new 2019.

Hey that's a good look. I have a 2013 Overland Summit. Can't go wrong that's enough power for me also.U think by adding a exhaust and cold air that would be cool. Would that take me out my warranty. ✌🏾
