Dear friends, please note that Hyundai Kona comes with 2 versions, both Gasoline and Electric powered.

*The part* that _the Kona has also gasoline-powered variant before speaking about the internal combustion engine_ in the video *is unfortunately omitted* .

So, please accept our sincere apologies

*Actually this video is misleading. Tesla is at the BOTTOM of the list when it comes to E.V's (Electric Vehicles) in production, and not nearly as successful. China has a much higher production rate and better success in the market*

It's April 2019 and the german cars are still a joke.
Hyundai Kona does not profit and they produce laughable amount.
So, for now it's still Tesla vs Nissan.

Well, we do live now in 2019 and so far, except Hyundai Kona, new Nissan Leaf, Jaguar iPace nothing else came to markets to try to make the difference. The most efficient Hyundai Kona is in shortage in 2019 due to not enough available batteries. Hyundai Ioniq electric is efficient but has a too short range. Kia Niro and Soul electric are available in very low numbers in certain markets. So far Jaguar iPace can challenge Tesla in off road abilities and Hyundai Kona in certain markets can challenge Tesla on efficiency of an relatively low priced EV. Ironically the latter one is not even available in numbers demanded by customers to try to make a difference. However autonomous driving and HiTech available in Tesla is of no match for any other EV. Also in certain markets Audi E Tron can challenge Tesla in build quality, fit and finish but lack of decent efficiency and fast charging networks with long cords (the plug in port is too far from the front of the car to easy reach to plug it in) hampers Audi E Tron sales. Chevrolet Bolt never managed to convince enough buyers due to poor interior quality and cramped back sits room. Ford Focus electric and FIAT 500 electric are just poorly designed compliance cars barely worth mentioning. Also BMW i3 never lured to many buyers to make a difference. Nissan Leaf is really backward in battery temperature management technology and is thus mostly a urban commuter car. Volkswagen e golf has a too short range and does not have battery temperature management. Every other concept mentioned here is still a concept and/or a vapor ware.
Moreover lack of well developed fast charging networks does not allow any of them to challenge Tesla Model 3 which has much much higher consumer appeal due to the ease of long range travel thanks to its supercharger network. Imagine what turmoil will happen when Tesla Model Y comes to market and the superchargers will be converted to third generation.

One man always does not succeed. If you think so then only Albert Einstein was sufficient to discover all the laws and invented all ,like that in practical any man could achieve it without any knowledge about it. Most of the previous scientists were not so much educated to discover but they did it. The + ve attitude to must achieve a thing and the devotion for it will open all the doors of success even God will make him successful.

      1) The i3s is not threat - wtf?
      124 miles? Skinny tires? 99 mpg? 0-60 6.9 seconds? 124 miles in 6 hours? At 48,000 dollars!
      2) Hydrogen will NOT compete with Electric! It’s currently MORE expensive than gas!
However hydrogen hybrids cars are the future
      3) The Audi looks promising but it’s a concept with no price yet
      4) I’ve seen that Honda - it’s no Tesla luxury bro and it’s got no range
      5) The Jag iPace is fly but I’d take a Tesla X over it everyday
Also you never said the price
      6) The Hyundai is gonna be competition on the low price bracket but Tesla is a luxury brand and doesn’t have anything that’s 39k right now
      7) this is AGAIN a future concept with no price with no range! It’s a hybrid! STOP - yes 35k competing with Tesla 3 SOUNDS good - we’ll see - it’s a hybrid tho so no not even real direct competition
      8) Nissan Leaf sucks bro this video sucks with it wtf?
      9) You deserve no views at all

You can't add concept cars as challenger to Tesla. Most concept cars never make it to full production. Only if it's in full production can you truly say it's a challenge to Tesla. The title of this video is wrong. You are spreading erroneous information. You might as well call this video fake news.

Why do you think these cars will challenge Tesla? Elon himself has encouraged auto manufacturers to build EVs and even offers up a good portion of his technology to help them.

If they sell in large numbers, then they will challenge Tesla but if they continue the compliance low volume trend then they won't.
Let's come back in a year in early 2020 and see how it all played out.

This video is so cute, since it believes in marketing hype buzz words and fantasy press releases.
If the Merc EQ Luxury midsize SUV comes with 310 miles EPA 400hp and a base price of $39K usd, I will buy one and give it away for free to charity, but benz has to match all those specs in real world. Their GLA is not an SUV (even though they try listing it as such) but a hatchback version of the Cclass, and the only 'SUV' that comes close to 39K right now is a GLC base at 40.7K with 241hp, and their current GLC 43 AMG with 362Hp starts at 56.2K, so I'm pretty safe there, as there is no chance in hell that it will cost 39 w 400hp.
Volvo Polestar is another solid laugh, 35K 'Performance' and 600Hp in same sentence, Hahahahah!
If Volvo releases this performance car for in 2019 with Electric Range 93 miles and 600hp for 35K usd, I will rip out my kidneys and give them away for free spelling my own doom.
      Let's see:
The S60 base comes in at 35.8K usd with 250hp (a long, long way from 600), the V60 starts at 38.9K and the 'cheepy' XC40 base at 33.2K
comes with 187hp, not quite even half of 600hp, but awfully close to 35K claim.
Let put it another way, when u put 'performance' in front of any car name ur leaving the dealer at least 50-60K poorer.
Looks like my kidneys will stay where they are in 2019 :)
