Camryn reviews the dash and interior better than anyone. He pays attention to what people immediately look at when getting in your ride 👍

Im getting a truck for my 16 year old son and I will be sharing it with him for various duties/reasons. We like to go offloading and he will use it to drive to school, he is a Hockey/Football player. Probably a light weight truck that can still tow our Malibu 20 foot boat. I am 6'5 and 260 and he is supposed to even be my size. We go camping mountain biking, hunting, and on road trips a lot together. We live in suburbs of Denver and go to the mountains all year long. My father in law has a house in the mountains by Granby and we go there all summer pretty much. My wife just got the Tahoe fully loaded and the interior and all the features in that are awesome, I have heard the ram 1500 is great too especially the Rebel, but I am open to anything and prefer the off road package on it. Thanks. Any recommendations? This will be mainly his but I will use it too. I used to have a 1993 f150 and had to ditch it with all my kids. I now drive a 2011 GMC Yukon Denali XL. Please give recommendations. Thank you.

Why not do a review of the more closer the base model, that more people can afford.
Ho many people can afford to buy a 60,000$ truck.

Yes, the EcoBoost sounds like crap to the V8's but the 5.0L isn't a "Step up" like you said, the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is the steppe price wise. It has 20 less HP but 40 more lb-ft. of torque with better fuel economy. Both are great engines.

There's a keyless entry because of us men who go outdoors hunting and fishing. We don't have to risk losing our keys in the water or wilderness. Boom!

F150 better pull there socks up that's not a nice looking truck at all and as far as im concerned Ram Bighorn model and up have the nicest exteriors and interiors on the market. Also 3.5 Ecoboost isn't a good engine and is well know for carbon issues and costly repairs if your not covered by warranty. Those little engines won't handle the stress like a V8. Ram is working on a new 10 speed that will be released in 2017 like Ford. I had a F150 and it spent more time in service than it did on the road. Quality isn't job one anymore with any auto maker. Love my 2014 Ram Sport with 8 speed and air suspension.

@Anthony Macneil " is well know for carbon issues "

no it isn't. VW/Audi engines are known for that, and people only assume the Ecoboosts are too. The only sources online you can find for intake build-up in Ecoboost engines is from places trying to sell you stuff to fix it.

DON'T BUY FORD.. My trans failed with less than 60k miles. The extended warranty expired. Ford wants nothing to do with it. The reply I received was sorry we couldn't meet your expectations..Was to expect a transmission to last more than 60k miles too much to ask?  Sure lets sink a ton of money into new style cars and advertisements and put the money there instead of do right by our customers...  I've own 5 Fords in the past and will not feed the Ford family and Directors coffers anymore.

Quality is JOB 1      NOT      Get your money is job one... Thanks for nothing Ford  !!

The new f150 has a huge gap between the cab and bed. That gap just kills the otherwise nice design.

I have to say, I like the GMC 1500 interior better than this Ford F-150. Why didn't they go with the 8 speed manual transmission? They can't use pricing as an excuse because this one is 60k+. For that price, I'd expect power seats on both driver and passenger side, automatic power windows all around, a way better quality interior, a newer sophisticated 8 speed automatic transmission, and a nicer looking grille.

@Chris Bach lmao. Oops. I meant automatic. I was probably thinking of my manual I need to service.

But to answer your question: an 8 gear manual would be good for handling the heavier loads.
