This is the new Lamborghini Urus SUV, and everything you want to know about it! From a full in-depth walkaround to hot laps at Vallenlunga, driving on the countryside roads and a purpose built off-road course. It's the third member of the Lamborghini line-up so take a watch to see all about it.

Kicking off at Vallelunga circuit near to Rome, Italy, a few dynamic driving laps on track set the tone for the car. For the first time with a turbo engine in a Lamborghini, the Urus is not lacking any power with 650 horsepower and 850Nm of torque from the 4.0l TT V8.

Next is a full exploration of the car, seeing the ins and outs, and how it is still distinctly Lamborghini even with a new form factor. Then it's a short drive around the local roads to the track to see what it's like in that environment before returning for an experience on an off roading course that's specifically built for this event.

Controversial for sure as a breakaway from the more traditional super sports cars, the Urus is titled by Lambroghini as a Super SUV, it's brilliant in many ways but is it a 'real' Lamborghini? Enjoy the video!

Thanks for watching, Tim

Shmee150 Why would an SUV need 650 Horse Power? A bit much considering it is not a racing car. I think 430 horse power would have been perfect. You can push anything it, gas efficiency, use it as a daily driver.

Shmee150 I’m sure there is room for improvement for this already amazing vehicle. How do you think it would do against an X6M?

      Hey Tim,
Thx for the detailed review- LOVE your videos!!
I was at an unveiling of the Urus here in Vancouver in March of 2018 and spent some time with it.
I love the looks. The overall exterior shape and some of the dash looks very similar to the 2019 Q8 but the drive, the engine, the ANIMA lever area, the aggressive looks of the front & rear ends are definitely LAMBORGHINI!!
In Canada I spec'd one out (4 seater) to $320K CDN and the starting budget is about $280K.
What was the asking price for that one?
In Vancouver we have a strong Supercar community & many high end SUV's on the road too.
This is the BEST LOOKING of the bunch imo.
Its perfect for me as I take my buddies to sporting events, boys night out, golfing, hiking and up to Whistler & Kelowna during the winter months too. Yes my wife will drive it but not during potential snowy conditions. She hates driving (and terrible passenger too) in the snow.
What many people fail to realize is that its a Lambo with the latest tech, a 641HP engine that does 0-62 in 3.3 with 627 lb⋅ft of torque at 2,250–4,500 rpm and it can haul 5 adults with luggage!! Its a Lamborghini folks that drives 5 adults around. - let that set in.
Plus the exhaust note is AWESOME!!!
Also, some people are complaining about the ANIMA lever and that you have to click thru it to return to the Strada mode BUT...a little tip ... just pull and hold it and it returns to Strada automatically:-)
Plus, Italian is in my blood (family from Verona & Treviso areas) and I'm president of the local FOHI (Fat Old Hairy Italian) club.
      Lambo or bust for me:-)
      Cheers from Vancouver Canada!!

I hope that at 14:16 you crossed your arms like that holding the steering wheel because you got caught up talking and don't "normally" do that when you drive... Very poor habit and actually very unsafe...

I’m glad Lamborghini didn’t go for a flashy/gaudy look, like their other sports cars. It also looks like they are finally starting a new chapter in making a practical car. I’m not sure how good it will sell though. Despite it being very practical, I think most of their buyers are the type of person who wants a car that says, ‘look at me... I have an expensive exotic car’, and could care less about its practicality. Unfortunately for their typical customers, this car does not scream ‘look at me,’—the exterior design is far too subtle for that.

I also want to note that I think their hexagonal designs look tacky—we get it, carbon fiber is expensive and you put carbon fiber in your cars; the drivers don’t need to be reminded of it daily. I just saw the other day that Rolls Royce now offers a car with the Spirit of Ecstasy in carbon fiber...I mean, come on. Why? If plastic was as inifecient to produce as carbon fiber is, its cost would be high, and I bet you Rolls Royce and Lamborghini would be showing off all their plastic. 😂.

Plastic wheel arches, and the centre console, as you were doing looking down at it while driving to see what to do, is dangerous as many other reviews have mentioned. on it Not enough fiscal controls
