      Bird. I've lived there for decades and never saw a single rat. I'm sure there may be a few somewhere but the city does a good job. This isn't like NYC at all. The streets and neighborhoods are clean without garbage and litter all over (many areas of NYC even smell bad in the summer), no rats running all around, and the people are polite and friendly instead of rude and ignorant. Even the the gangbanger neighborhoods are kept clean and the paramedics and the police do a great job of picking up the gunshot victims and bodies right away, but again, that's in the hood.
