While other manufacturers have had a 3 row SUV for a long time, VW is just getting into the game with their New Atlas. This SUV is BIG. With tons of utility and features like a tilt/sliding second row for 3rd row access without removing a baby car seat, the Atlas should be a solid family performer in the years to come.

Steve Neill Beauty is vain. Reliability and funtionality is much more important. This is where the Atlas flexes its muscles, (which are much bigger than yours btw)🤣 I have had plenty of compliments on my VW Atlas.

Everyday Reviews If we are talking space. Then maybe a better comparison would be the Honda Pilot vs the VW Atlas. What are your thoughts?

Hard to say since it's so new. I'm happy with my Highlander but if I had to do it again, I might go with the Atlas. The second row is a winner for me, especially with car seats. So much more space than almost anything in its class. Truly a utility vehicle.

I've never owned a VW but have fallen in love with this vehicle I also like the redesigned Tiguan. But this car is masculine and classy looking but VWs reliability, maintenance cost and resale are really killing my courage to ditch Japanese automobiles. I owned an 04 Audi A4 several years ago and just replacing 1 wiper blade cost $80.
