I know I should just let this convo die, but Im just curious.
Why does it matter which speaker brand they chose to use as an example?

Well, I guess they should of compared their speaker to something better than a kicker but its odd that you seemed so defensive about it.

Tacotunes, thanks for the video. I've been working on getting my 6.5 silver flutes and baffle to fit last few days. Gezz.... Toyota could of made it a little easier to mount a deeper speaker.

You said they were the same price point as the kicker KS components which happen to be $229.99 for the pair of 6.5 components. That’s where I got the price from.

at the end of the video, you say not using "plug & play" you'll want to mount the crossovers in the center console. now is this so you don't have to run all the new speaker wire through the door jamb? what would be the specific reason to mount them in the center console instead of the doors. besides they just look nice in my opinion. or is that the reason.?

WE do offer the crossover mounts with our products. They do not work with all crossovers so we have not listed them for general sale.

It would be nice if you actually sold the crossover mounts

with the plug and play amp setup, we are using the stock wiring. To make it easier, we mount the Xover in the door. When running new speaker wire, we (preference) like to install the xovers IN the car. They are less likely to be exposed to moisture and less movement.
