salamat sa video, pero sana kaakibat nito ang responsableng pagmamaneho. May sira po yung motor nyo sir but still you used it sa highway. Reminder lang para hindi tayo ma brand na kamote

@elgritton yes no ifs or buts but the fact of the matter is it's a test ride and the electrical problem happened on the way there. Mga motor dati walang gauges, mga legal din yun. Inuwi din namin yung motor na ganun na walang gauges, kamote ba din yun or ano? Having an electrical problem isnt classified immediately as an illegal action. Being a kamote is someone who doesnt know traffic rules or riding dangerously. Like I said, not my bike, i took it out for a spin on the country side.

WarshawGamesHD In reply to Jace Marquez

I believe the 500 is more made for in city use, so the Vulcan has it beat in long rides and comfortability, where most other reviewers I have seen have said the rebel 500 is really really mobile and nimble.

    • Sinbad683
Sinbad683 In reply to Jace Marquez

Yea the seat and the suspension on the Rebel 500 is stiffer than the Vulcan S. Also the fuel tank capacity is a lot smaller.

One thing I was interested in was a comparison of comfort and general thoughts on the different seating / riding position from one to the other. Kinda goes out the window when the foot pegs position is modified on the Honda. That in particular is going to be a big part of deciding between the two bikes for many potential buyers.

    • Sinbad683
      Sinbad683 In reply to brookyone

I have sat on a stock honda rebel. The stock foot pegs are way more comfy than the ones that were on the bike I test rode. But I highly suggest trying to sit on both bikes if you can't test them. It's a little biased, but I feel more comfortable on the Vulcan S in general. I hope that helps somewhat. Thanks for watching!

I have a question about the vulcan; when you shift up to second is always clunky? I mean I can make smooth if I shift on very low rpm and slowly, but if my rpm are high its always so clunky... Wonder if its normal or its just my bad skill...

    • Bo Zhao
Bo Zhao In reply to Vadim Toronto

It is always clunky when I shift in the first gear and up the second . To reduce the clunky, get the engine warmed up enough. The clunky is reduced.

I think it's the nature of the Parallel Twin Engine itself. Also a big factor when it comes to the gear transmission is the quality of Oil you use. I have used three brands, and I can tell you that Oil does make a difference when you shift. The better the oil, the smoother the shifting. I personally use Motorex. I have used Repsol oil previously and that was smooth on its own. Motorex in terms of engine performance and shifting is better, but it's more expensive. I hope that helps you! Cheers.

Hey, nice video..i have 1 question. i am 169 cm tall, and i never ride bike bigger than 150cc bike. Now i really fall in love to vulcan s. But i worried that the vulcan s too heavy for me. My weight about 70kg. My previous bike about 120kg compare to vulcan s which is abot 220kg. What do you think?

    • Sinbad683
Sinbad683 In reply to zero boyd

That's how I started. I had the Honda CBR 150r which is a 150cc bike. I'm a little shorter than you, I'm 165 cm. You just gotta be careful at slow/parking speed with the Vulcan S and be gentle on the throttle at first. You'll notice the torque difference right away and after a day or two you'll get the hang of the throttle. I hope that helps. But I believe you'll be just fine. There are girls shorter and lighter than you and me who started out with the Vulcan S. So don't worry! Congrats in advance!
