In this video, I present a 2005 Jeep Liberty with a 3.7 Liter V6 engine paired to a 4 speed automatic transmission. I will show some of the main exterior and interior features of the vehicle and give it a detailed look around.

My nanny used to have this same model year Jeep Liberty (2005), except the exterior color on her’s was red. And it was NOT reliable at all. Her Liberty literally had a bunch of problems, and it literally broke down not to long after buying it. Not to mention, the turn signals sound like they’re coming from the middle of the center dash board and it was hard to hear what she was saying, every time she had her turn signals on. Not to mention, it’s typical of Chrysler vehicles of it’s era not being as luxurious anyways. But I’ve seen other non-luxury vehicles from this era (especially in the 2001-06 Nissan Altima and 2005-09 Chevrolet Equinox/Pontiac Torrent) with seats that are more comfortable. So obviously Chrysler was starting to go downfall during the 2000’s, in terms of quality and comfort. And I’m guessing the people who just want to use Jeeps as an off road vehicle would be OK with that, but as for anyone else who just wants a Chrysler product (including Jeeps) as a daily driver, they might regret getting any Chrysler product. Because obviously, some people want more comfort in a vehicle, and Chrysler just didn’t have any good comfort at the time. They’re slowly getting better these days, but I think they’re falling a little bit behind Ford and GM, in terms of the American car company lineup. Again, because of build quality and comfort. (Ford/Lincoln being 1st place and GM in 2nd place.)

Still have an 05 Liberty Sport with manual transmission. Had to replace old audio console, got newer wheels, had some brake issues and had its age issues in the last five years. But precisely zero squeaks and rattles at 13 years old. Amazing.

It's a jeep. It's not meant for luxury or to have an exquisite interior. The liberty does what it does, and it does so well.

I like 4 wheel drive so I don't have to shovel snow is all other than that 2 wheel drive is okay with some weight in the back, if the snow is not too deep.<--I'm lazy I don't bother to shovel the driveway after working all day 12 hours.

I getting one of these there pretty well priced and I am only 17 so I also think its a great starter jeep and its a big upgrade from what I currently drive (2002 caviler) these little jeep liberty's are reasonably priced as well you can find a 2006 with around 100k miles for around 4500.00 so I am definitely getting one

Nice video! Mine is similar, i have a gold 06 4x4 model. Love my jeep, it's a fun good reliable all year round vehicle, with plenty of room. Jeeps are great cars, & one of the longest running vehicles still on the road today.

I would say it's a good car if it's just gonna be your first car to go to school and what not. But as a long term car I would look into something else. These are fairly reliable and ours hasnt had any major problems, but I think you should also look into a Honda CR-V or a Toyota Rav4 :)
