People who drive into you and then drive off without stopping, you're nothing but a scumbag.

It really is ironic, how they went stop for you but if the shoe was kn the other foot, they would be complaining. You learn a lot from these compilations. 👍

Cyclists are difficult to see at night. There should be a legal standard for lights and high-viz clothing.

@Bob I don't think my bikes appeal to many cyclists. Quite a bit more niche. My bikes also have extremely bright headlights that come on as soon as you turn the key. However, my 20+ years driving experience has proven to me that even unlit bicycles at night are easy to spot in the city, like in this very video.

@th3d3wd3r And that you just happen to make money from bicycles totally explains your nonsensical position regarding their nighttime visibility. Thanks.

      th3d3wd3r In reply to Bob

@Bob if you're genuinely interested, I usually get orders for a style of mod by west coast cycles (with consent I might add). I take a norco atomik frame, chop out the bottom tube and weld in a box. Inside of the box goes a 100.8v battery made from Sony vtc6 18650 cells. Controller is a custom built field oriented control motor driver. Typically programmed to 120A (battery), 300A (phase) plus a bit of flux weakening for some extra high end kick. 100v x 120A = 12000 watts, or about 20bhp.

@Bob you're very doubtful of people. It's a very unhealthy attitude. I actually build ebikes for a living. Including designing and building battery systems.
What do you do? Just act like a cockwomble on the internet? or do you actually have any skills?

About 20% of these situations could have been avoided if the driver had just held back a bit. Not that they should have to, but why risk it for the sake of being stubborn.

9:34, the insignia had entered the roundabout first, so it is his right of way

    • Harley Hamilton-Sharp
Harley Hamilton-Sharp In reply to derwyn owen

@derwyn owen you are correct in saying the cyclist cut across, if he went around it probably could have been prevented and I will say the cyclist was at fault for that reason, however he did have right of way, if you look it up you will find this out, here, https://www.drivingtesttips.biz/mini-roundabout.html States "If the roundabout is closed or you need to give way to a vehicle or cyclist from the right, this is usually the only reason you should need to stop.
Obviously mini roundabouts are small and for a learner driver to see a car approaching the roundabout from the left, can be tempting to stop, especially if the vehicle appears to be traveling at speed. Unless the vehicle is relatively close to the roundabout, is traveling at excessive speed and you feel that they will not be able to stop, don’t be tempted to stop and give way to them"
Therefore the cyclist had right of way, and the insignia should have let him go.

Harley Hamilton-Sharp In reply to derwyn owen

owen well let's agree to disagree..... either way, in the highway code it also states to be aware of other drivers and be courteous, therefore the insignia could have just been patient/more observant, even the camcar driver saw the bike

    • derwyn owen
derwyn owen In reply to derwyn owen

@Harley Hamilton-Sharp but they dont have right of way until they enter the roundabout, not before
how do you not understand this
the cyclist did not wait for it to be clear though, so by saying it, you concede i am right

2:25 the driver was going too fast, but that dude didn't even turn his head to look. he just saw stationary traffic and a gap. can't count the amount of times I've pulled up before a crossing and not on it, in anticipation of the lights changing and me being parked over the crossing. pedestrians assume you've stopped because the lights have changed, and without checking for the green man they start walking out. if it's two lanes and they're on my nearside, wow that makes my ass twitch when i see them move out
