The thumbnail on this video is a mansion that isn't even in Canada.... it's the Stone Mansion in Alpine New Jersey.

I don't think whoever made this video got in The Bridal Path, I used to live there. I went to Crescent School and belonged the The Granite Club.

It was simpler. It was really weird looking back now. Such a clique of people. I went to Crescent School when it was still heavily segregated, so was the Granite club. I used to sneak a Jewish friend in a lot :) I have some mind blowing stories... The year I turned 17 they dropped age of majority from 21 to 18 and all these kids had massive inheritance parties trying to outdo each other.. give that some thought... :)

Wow, it sounds like simpler but happier times. And yeah I cannot afford to live on the path either, and if I had that kind of money I would probably choose to live in a warmer climate.

I'm in Vancouver and could not possibly afford to live on the path now. Ya, I saw changes. I watched the barn Northern Dancer was born in torn down and Windfields Farm demolished to make room for sub divisions. There used to be pheasant hunting and fishing around the Don River, can you believe that? When I was a kid I played in Bayview Glen. We used to race small scale dirt bikes on the hill where Ryerson was built.
      Those days are long gone...

@videoizer Wow, interesting. Sounds like you've been around the city for a while and have seen a lot of changes.

I grew upon High Point Rd. I know the hood very well. The video isn't the Path, the Heath, High Point and Park Lane is what I mean, it shows the outskirts mostly. Yep, public streets, anyone can drive thru. I remember people cruising around on horses looking at the estates. In the 60's it seemed like a different planet than the rest of Toronto.
