Fastest I've gotta my 07 was 105mph at 12500rpm on a straight away. That was with all stock parts (except tires, Pirelli sport demon F 100/90-16, R 130/90-16). OEM tires has the tendency for inaccurate speedometer of 3-5mph.

+itsWOAR Yes, I figured that. Lot can be learned in few years if you ride regularly, including non fatal mistakes. I've had few falls & learned very quickly that I need to be super careful with lighter bikes(not the bike in the video) like 100cc ones. You can't get the same degree of control from a lightweight 100cc bikes, as oppose to a 250cc heavier bike. I learned it the hard way, but without any serious injuries, just few bruises. I wear a knee guard all the time now & elbow guard half of the time. And I don't even bother speeding on windy roads. Just ain't worth it.
When I do off road tracks on trail bikes, I wear all the super safe gear I can find. :))
BTW, there's something magical about being in the sky with a trail bike jumps, as long as you land without breaking bones. I stick with softer grounds for the most of the time. :)

+itsWOAR It's good to hear you're still alive. :)). I wanna ride my bike up in the sky too, but for some reason the road laws and laws of aerodynamics won't allow me to do so. :))
Anyway, it's good to see the near max speed of the bike, but try to stay on your side for yours and others sake. I've had the unfortunate experience of picking up a helmet on a motorbike crash site to discover to my horror the guys head was inside the helmet.
I later learnt in the anatomy class why its' so easy to get decapitated in a crash. So, don't kid yourself. You ain't superman, yet.

idk if the sprockets have been changed or the speedo could be off but thats just what he said I'm not experienced enough yet to find out

These bikes do NOT have tapered roller steering bearings and once worn they could produce the infamous high speed wobble, if anyone is planning on riding crazy at least upgrade that aspect of this bike and my 2 cents is slow down, you and your bike will last longer

I bought one for $800. After getting it home I realised I got suckered, but not too bad. Ordered a body kit for it for $410. It needs new tires and the headstem bearings replaced and the speedocbale is broken. Ir has an oil leak and all up there's $850 to get it fixed, which doesnt really bother me. At least it came with 10 months rego. If I decide to sell it I'll get $2,250 easy for it and if I held out $2,500 or more. The ones on certain aussie bike sales sites, which will remain nameless, the zzr 250's for sale for $800 - $1,500 all have poblems, no rego, needs tires, broken this and that. I'll maintain the bike properly, any buyer will see that. I'll turn a profit on it even if it's only a couple hundred bucks

Nah i dont think James is talking about wheel bearings. The way i felt wobble and what i think James above is describing..... Is the bearings inside the center of Handel bars to fork. I first guessed this high speed wind wobble (like a fish) was just from the aerodynamics of the little bike not designed to be taken to high speeds. But nah i think James is right just need to take a feel/look at steering bearins.

And yeah $1000 Aus is great price if fully working. Average in S.A. 30-65000kms is $1500 and all bikes on more populated east of Aus (Queens,NSW,Vic ) are always around 25% cheaper. So if your east expect $1000-$1600 average value of bike

Sean Gillen according to what I've read the 2006 Ninja 250 and those of that generation get 37 HP and make 18 ft lbs of torque. the later model with the more updated fairing was lowered to about 32 HP. maybe you're reading TQ specs? I just confirmed my info on Wikipedia.

why go that fast you are risking other drivers lives? although he is a squid. what difference would a jacket make. roadrash is nothing to the forces exerted on his body crashing at from 110. Slow down so you can live to ride a little longer. or go to the track please.
