      I’ve had great success using my FCA UCONNECT.
      Much better than my previous Toyota junk.

      Uconnect is the most glitchy system I've ever used in a car. I had to replace the system twice in my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Not impressed. Multiple friends of mine who also own Chrysler products have also had issues with theirs, take my warning. Don't buy a Chrysler product. Cheap shit cars.

      Nice review but you went to fast punching buttons without telling what they did.

      Hi there, I just got my Daytona, I'm having a problem with the Horn honk when locked - unlocked, I changed the settings but the car still refuses to honk, it is like on off setting, but I put it on and still no sound, is there something else I should do or maybe it is a bug in the system?

      Samer Rasheed Mohammed If you are changing the setting and it still not working, then you might have a bug. I'm not sure if it is this way in Chrysler products, but I know certain other brands only sound the horn if you press the lock button twice in a row on the fob. Wish I could be more helpful!

      DO NOT BEGIN ACTIVATING UCONNECT APP! I just took delivery today of a 2017 Grand Cherokee LTD. Prior to beginning the process of activating the UCONNECT app (Droid) I had been able to reply to messages using voice. I was interested in accessing Pandora so began the process of downloading the UCONNECT app and entered my email info as instructed by the prompt screens on the vehicles Uconnect screen. I never received the email link but attempted to text a message reply as I had previously. But I dscovered it had become disabled and now required activation via UCONNECT. So now in order to have voice texting replies I will need to pay a $15 monthly fee after the 6 month trial expires. Not happening! My other cars (Toyota and Lincoln) do not have this limitation and now I tend to use Android Auto which is entirely voice activated. It is integrated into the LIncoln. The Toyota allows me to send preset text replies (so does Lincoln but oddly only when stopped, so useless). Had I known that I would loose the voice texting on the Uconnect I would have left well enough alone so I am making others aware. I can stream or listen to stored music directly from the phone without UCONNECT. Voice texting is the only way I will text but now it will not be integrated into the cars system but will be done on phone using Android Auto. I expect Jeep/Chrysler is resisting integrating Android Auto as it will negate most reasons to pay a subscription fee.

      Does anybody have a problem with repeating songs? When I press the next button it keeps start over and over again and again to the same song. It happens even in radio too, I have to press the next button several time to go to next channel. I have the latest version updated.
      I have no duplicate song and I am using the shuffle mode. When it starts the same song, even song counter remains the same.

      Daniel the answer is yes and no. You can access individual songs via Siri eyes free and if your playlists are organized you can have siri select playlists. Once you start your playlist the left hand steering wheel controls allow you to maneuver through songs either forward or backwards.

      @CarConfections
        I'll that's kinda what I've been finding too.  It's a 2015 leftover so I'll check on updates.  I can try a hard drive too.

      Thanks.

      +ClassicFIHD I did some reading up on it and this is a common problem. It appears that the USB may put out lower volts than some other sources which causes its maximum output volume to be lower. One workaround is if your car has built in hard drive space you could transfer the music to the HDD. I would also recommend making sure you have the most up-to-date version of Uconnect because sometimes bugs are corrected in those updates. Hope this helps!

      +ClassicFIHD I would suggest making sure the volume is turned up all the way to the max on your phone. A lot of the times this is the issue.
